I really appreciate the kindness at this ice cream shop and the fast service we received today. They have a good selection of soft served I've cream. I ended up getting the cookie monster Sunday and my daughter and is was very pleased. Loaded with fudge, blue ice cream and lots of Oreos and chocolate chip cookies in the middle of the Sunday. I'm glad I found this spot. I'll be back soon ️.

AMAZING! Sweet Retreat blows Jubie’s and Graeter’s out of the water. Have had the dole whip twist, blueberry pie, and salted chocolate pretzel. Drive through is a plus (don’t have to drag kids in after spending time at the park). Already planning to return next weekend.

We’ve been looking for some decent soft serve ice cream and happened upon this place. We were excited to try it and it was good; definitely didn’t disappoint but the staff wasn’t the friendliest.

So the ice cream is amazing. BUT…the soft serve lacks flavor - I should be able to tell what flavor I am eating, and the service is RIDICULOUSLY SLOW. They have you stay out back and wait there for service but someone has to come from the front of the store to take your order. And that’s only if they see you when they aren’t on their phones (saw that while we were leaving - customers waiting out back and they are oblivious since they are buried in their social media or whatever). They ran out of one type of ice cream for a sundae and instead of replacing with another scoop of a different flavor, they only offer chocolate or vanilla soft serve! This place has great reviews and I would love to give a 5 star but I can’t with horrible service and other issues. Hope they fix the service issue soon. Maybe get a window out back for orders!

Blueberry ice cream tastes exactly like kings island lots of flavors really great for cheap price.

The staff is super friendly and the choices are well varied and numerous. The quality of the premium scoops are just as good as Graeter's. And closer!

Didn’t try any of the fun soft serve flavors (they have over two dozen!), but they all looked great. Ordering system is a bit wonky, but they were pretty quick (and very friendly!) given how many people were there.

So many choices. I have been a few times. Everything is delicious and huge servings! I always prefer to buy local when I can. You will not be disappointed!

One star is to much for this place everytime that I go to buy ice cream is eaither they don't take cash or they don't take walk ins and the worst is that I always walk over there with my kid very excited and he gets sad cuz we end up not getting anything.

Probably the worst ice cream place I've been to. The owner Chris has a constant attitude. The workers are slow, and seem to care very little about the customer

Just tried it for the first time with my fiance, my sister and two niece's and man we all enjoyed it very much! The prices aren't bad at all and they hook you up compared to other places as far as servings go. I recommend the ice cream nachos they come in different flavors. Hands down the best ice cream I've had in Dayton in a long time. The cyclones are bomb too which is their version of a blizzard they pack it full of whatever topping you choose! You won't be disappointed we will definitely be back.

I want to give this place a five star review so bad because it truly is a diamond in the rough. Delicious flavors and easy to get to. The reason why it’s four stars is because the service is the slowest I have been witness to. I am thinking they are purposely taking it slow to show there is a line, but it’s getting a bit insane. Waited 35 minutes on Saturday with 4 cars ahead of us. We saw the average order was 1-2 items. Happy to change this to a five star once the speed changes.

Get the brownie sundae and trust me! Also their KI blue definitely tasted just like the real thing at the amusement park:) thoroughly satisfied
