We bought our kitchen remodel tile from The Tile Shop. Installation came so long after delivery that we would have been stuck with a minor problem with the order. Instead, Bennett Zalewski, the store manager, went out of his way to help us and to make things right. We really appreciated his great example of customer service. Absolutely would buy from them again.

A great place to find a large variety of tiles. There are "show rooms" showing tiles in kitchens and bathrooms. The staff has been very informative and helpful to me and always has taken as much time as I needed as they showed me the tiles I was interested in.

I spent over $2000 purchasing tile and supplies from the tile shop for a project in my kitchen and bathroom. I had a single piece of tile that had been a sample we didn’t choose from the beginning of the project.
The young man refused to accept the return because I was two weeks past their 90 day policy.
Do not expect to be treated like you matter if you choose the tile shop!

5 Stars out to Brittany! @ The Ohio Tile Shop location. I live in Indiana, I called the Ohio Tile Shop after waiting WAY Too Long to hear from James in Indianapolis. A 5 min conversation with Brittany took place, she called me back in 5 minutes with all the tile I needed, AFTER calling 3 states to locate It! Thank You Brittany. Thinking out of the Box got it done. GREAT JOB

Very helpful staff. Prices are quite a bit higher than other places, but they have a good selection of products.

I tried to return an item that was 2 weeks pass the 90 days return. I tried to explain that I just build a house and things were misplaced in moving and couldn't return it. BUYER BEWARE. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS!

We had many issues over the 4 months of purchasing and installing tile (travertine) from this store. Was told one thing and something else would happen.

1 I allowed the sales person to compute my square footage and we ended up being over on some of it and was told that we could bring it back, never was I told that it had to be a full box in terms of the larger pieces. So we kept them on hand until we finished to make sure we didn’t need them and then when I went to return them was told I needed a full box.

2 we had a lot of breakage right out of the box. Early on and they did take care of some of it, but I had to fight with them to adhere to that policy and not all of it was replaced, again having to eat the broken and uncut pieces.

3. They have a lot of really nice displays in there… But what I discovered was they don’t have the tile to support their displays so when you’re looking at the display you’re expecting a certain quality of tile to match that display and we ended up having to change quality and tile to get close to what they’re display was like and ended up substituting other materials to fit.and then when you get it home it’s not the same thing at all— so using the displays to help you figure out the tile is a waste of time.

It’s clear that they don’t value customers or their projects, if they did, they wouldn’t argue over broken pieces out of the box or partially full boxes that they push on you when they compute your sq footage and refuse to take back at the end. 3 pieces of travertine is worth more to this store than repeat business or high valued reviews and customers who spend tens of thousands of dollars. I’ll never be back that is for sure and we still have 3 more rooms to tile.

If you have a choice do not do business with them. The manager was zero help and just repeated their return. I expected more from this company, am very disappointed and will never give them another time of my hard earned money and will tell my friends

Though there were lots of tile options, many of the color palates we're the same. What we wanted was out of stock and had to be ordered -making that no different than doing so online. Staff was great though!

Warning buyer beware: The Tile Shop Centerville Ohio
My wife bought over $700.00 in marble tiles and materials from them and when our contractor went to install them, they found the tiles were chipped, broken and rust-stained, and could be used in our kitchen remodel.
When my wife tried to return the defective tiles the store employee gave her the run-a-round claiming "corporate" had to o-k the return. After weeks of waiting, they finally said they would not return our money on their defective products.
Buyer beware, before dealing with this store.
We will be filing a chargeback with the credit card company. If that fails it is off to small-claims court.

If you have a choice do not do business with them. I chose to go with The Tile Shop spending thousands more than I would at most other places. Thinking that they would offer better customer service than a box store. This was not the case by any means. I am now stuck with hundreds of dollars worth of tile that I cannot use that they still sell but refuse to take back. I am outside of the return window which was out of my control due to delays with covid with contractors. So while they can use the covid excuse on why they cannot get you all your products on time they have no leeway when it goes the other way. I can tell you the thousands I over paid was not worth it. The manager Katie was zero help and just repeated their return policy and there is nothing she can do. Her excuse as to why they cannot take back any tile after 90 days is that there are dye batches and they would be different dye batches. Odd considering my tile is all marble and last I checked you don't dye marble. I expected more from this company, am very disappointed and will never give them another dime of my hard earned money and will tell my friends and family to do the same.

I love their tile and tile work BUT signed up for a credit card with them. I did not know that the name of the credit card was different from their name. I may have thrown away the card inadvertently because it may have come in the mail with the name of the bank on it, a bank we have never worked with before.

I tried to pay my bill at least four times but finally realized I didn't have an acct.number for that bank card or for the Tile shop either. Commenity Bank was very helpful when I called them. Things need to be written on the receipt when this kind of transaction occurs. That would be VERY helpful!

They have amazing customer service. Cameron was so helpful! He helped carry the tile to my car, he answered questions in a pinch and even sent photos to confirm I had the right color grout as the workers were literally getting ready to lay the pebble floor! Floors turned out fantastic!

We came in looking for tile for our kitchen. Not a single person working asked if they could help. We even walked by an associate who looked at us but never asked if she could help us. I would give a negative star if possible.

Customer sevice lacking. Either employees lack sales experience or I assume they just.dont care to help. Everytime we go into the store help is scarce. We did have one nice woman help.us at the register.once we.found some tile.we.like. I understand in the time of Covid things are different. The lack of sales experience seems obvious.
