The UPS Store, Cincinnati OH

I've stopped coming here even though it's next to my house because the staff are so rude! They are not very accepting of Amazon returns even when you have everything packed and QR codes ready. The lines are very long and the staff act like Amazon returns are a major inconvenience. They are often on smoke breaks so the inside customer line gets very long.

UPDATE from 8/23/2023: As you can see below, the the owner responded here less than a day after my initial review, asking for me to email details to them. I sent that email the same day (over 2 weeks ago). The owner has not responded to my email or attempted to follow-up in any way. The response below is just for show so you think the owner cares. Let me reassure you that this owner does, in fact, not care about actually following up or fixing any of these problems.

If you are looking for a UPS store that is managed well, I would suggest the Newport location. I have been there several times and even had their manager explain to me the problem that this store refused to help me with. The service there has been consistently fast, friendly, and excellent.pretty much the opposite of this location in Western Hills.

NOW HERE IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:

I have been to this store many times to drop off UPS packages. I have never had a quick experience once. One time, I showed up during their posted business hours and the store was closed with no sign on the door to explain why. Tonight, was the last time I will ever go to the store. I arrived 20 minutes before the store closed and walked in the door to a completely empty store with no employees in sight. After waiting about 5 minutes, a woman walked in the back door putting a cigarette out with absolutely no concern or awareness of what was going on inside the store. She didn't apologize, much less greet me with a hello but instead scanned my package and immediately told me it was giving her an error that she didn't understand and she couldn't do anything to help me. She handed me the 800 number for UPS, who I then called went through their horrible hold system, only to be told that they could not connect me to an operator. The employee at the local store could not have cared less and could only reiterate to me that it was not her job to help me in any way. She also insisted that the store is not actually affiliated with UPS because they're an independently owned franchise and not capable of helping customers with anything. When I asked to speak to the owner, she told me that wasn't possible and she would not give me a number. When I asked to speak to the manager, she handed me a business card. When I called the number, it just went to the store phone that rang right next to her. This store takes apathy to a whole new level.

My experience was A+

Always a line to the door. Me and another customer discovered the self service station and were trying to help each other do it and got scalded by a lady at the front desk who said “please be quiet I can’t hear anyone. Jesus Christ. ” If someone had announced that we could do it ourselves we may not have needed to talk. That was so uncomfortable.

Poor customer service. Locked door before 3pm and stood in back of store staring at me holding a stack of packages. Then got an attitude with me when I kept knocking. Save yourself the trouble and use FedEx.

Do NOT ship from this location. They took our $200 to ship a medical device and shipment never arrived. We contacted this local store TWICE and were told that nothing was wrong even though tracking number NEVER showed in the system. They told us they would call us back and never did. Completely scammed. Took our money and our personal property and ruined our vacation. Looking into legal action at this point.

I usually have a great experience when Laura is there, but Christa informed me that Laura may not be back? I'm not sure why, though? She is a great worker. I was there on 4/19/23.

Christa was also very rude to a kid who was there to pick up prints of his cat that was missing. He apologized and said he didn't want to sound rude but advised her it was urgent. Christa responded with, "Do you see how long this line is? I don't have time for this. " I let the kid know where else to go to get his prints, and I finished up my return.

I've never had a bad experience in this store with Laura. I will not be returning unless I know she is still employed there.

I wished I would have gotten the wonderful lady name who went up and beyond out of her way too help me.
I truly appreciated her help.

I just had a great experience at this location with the new manager Christa. I came in with a bunch of Amazon returns and 4 of the returns required them to be package and in it's own separate packages because they had their own labels. I didnt realize that when I created the return. Instead of turning me away, Christa found packages that were left by other customers and help me package and tape them up. She was very patient and helpful. That is going above and beyond for a customer and I truly appreciate it!

Do NOT go there for passport photo! Website and sign both say Passport photos done here. Waste of time.

The store has been closed for two days when it is supposed to be open. Very inconvenient to drive there in the afternoon and sign on the door says closed.

They consistently close early and tell customers they don't care. If you are lucky enough to experience the daytime line, usually they only have one person working. Horrible service all around

Worst UPS Store Ever! I requested that they forward my mail out of the box. They packaged up my mail and sent it back to their own address. 75% of the time when I call they don't answer, and they never call back! I'm thinking about moving my box to another office. I have never been treated so poorly.

Terrible service, there email is down for Amazon return labels, she could care less, ups lost my first package, took 40 days to get my package, lost 2000 dollars on a job because the parts were so slow to arrive. Now this 120 dollar part, I can't f'in return.

ALWAYS a line out the door with one employee. Such a frustrating place to have to deal with. Every delivery should be free.

Even though this store was slammed on a Monday morning holiday, the two employees were light hearted and friendly

This place is awful. They’re always out of labels or there isn’t enough employees, and the people that work there are super rude there always something going on in this place.
