The W Nail Bar, Columbus OH

Check-in/out process was quick and easy. We had a wonderful experience with our pedicures. My feet and toenails look good and feel great! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love going here or to any of the locations. I have never had a bad service there and will continue to go there.

Kyrie was amazing! Do yourself a favor and book at this location with her. One of the best pedicures I’ve ever had!

I got gel extensions and a pedicure. Firstly, I had to pay extra for "nail art" just to get white tips. The extensions started falling off after 5 days and I was having to reapply them with nail glue. The "gel" pedicure I thought I was getting, was just a pedicure and the paint started chipping the first week, including the paint coming off of one nail entirely. The whole experience cost me $221.72, after tip. I made a follow up appointment while I was still there, for a month out, but forgot to put the appointment in my calendar (that's my fault). I forgot about it and surprisingly they don't have automated text reminders. When I didn't show, I was told that I needed to get there before 6pm or I'd have to pay the full amount of the services I scheduled which were gel extensions (they don't stay on), nail art, and gel extension removal (I no longer had any to remove). I explained this but was told I still had to pay for all 3 things. So I said that I could be there around 4pm but that I'd just get a manicure even if I had to pay for the rest. Then they texted and said they were wrong and that I had to be there within 30 minutes or I'd be charged $119. I couldn't be there within that timet frame so I said they'd just have to charge me. They ended up charging me $110 for the missed appointment instead. I never would have gone back in the first place but now I definitely won't and I felt the need to write this.

Update: Despite what the owner says below, I did not receive a reminder text 24 hours before my appointment. I do believe I was sent a confirmation text when I booked the appointment but as I said, I forgot to put it into my calendar. Again, as I said, missing the appointment was my fault. The shoddy work and miscommunication were not.

Worst nail experience I have ever had.
The nail technicians bangs hanging in my nails, she was discussing with her work friend what they were getting for her boyfriends Christmas gift, she was more involved in that conversation then doing my nails.
The girl was nice, bless her heart.
But to pay 25 $ for a nail removal on top of a gel manicure.
Save the 83$ and go somewhere else.

I've been going to The W for almost a year. I almost didn't give them a chance after a bad experience with The W in Shortnorth, but I really want my nails done that day. I booked an appointment with Marissa and I'll never not go to her. She's kind, thoughtful, and always down to problem solve my tricky nails. By far the best nail tech I've ever seen!

This specific W Nail Bar location was the site of several wedding-related appointments for me - I did a trial run of my wedding nails with Hannah (who is excellent!), pedicures with my now-husband with Hannah and Lily, and then my whole bridal crew came to get manicures before the wedding (KP did mine and she was awesome!) I want to give extra kudos for how Jordan handled the portion of my bridal party that ran late for the group appointment with grace and poise, helpfully adjusting their services to still fit within the allotted time.

Every single appointment was excellent - truly among the best nail services I've ever had. The vibe of this place is great, with friendly technicians, excellent hygiene practices, and approximately a bajillion colors to choose from! I will make a point of coming here whenever I'm in the area (I'm not local) if that gives you a sense of how much I loved this place.

Hannah W at your Polaris location should be giving lessons on proper foot and calf massage to every pedicurist in the city! By far the best massage I have ever had and she has my loyalty forever because of it! Absolutely excellent pedicure. Loved it. Today was my second time seeing her, and I'll definitely be back again!

Three issues with this salon
- technician drew blood TWICE during my gel extension service, once with cuticle scissors on one finger and once with a file on another. It’s been 4 days and the one finger is still painful.
-a customer in a wheelchair came for a pedicure service and the salon was not equipped to accept. The technician did as best she could, but I’m sure it was not comfortable for the customer. Hell, I felt bad for her.

And the worst bit -

I provided feedback on a review sent to me after my service and asked for their team to call me to discuss.

I’m still waiting.

Love seeing Marissa. She’s incredibly detail oriented in making sure my nails always look great and are healthy and strong!

I have been going to the W for several months and love the vibe. Marissa always does a great job on my manicure and I love that we can talk the whole time!

I had my first visit today and got a gel pedicure by Angelica. She was fabulous. Very detail oriented. My toes feel great and look beautiful. She was so sweet and friendly too. I’ll be back!

The W Nail Bar is so cute and clean! Everyone there is very welcoming. Marissa does my nails and I could not ask for a better nail artist! She is detail oriented, and easy to talk to. She always makes sure I leave happy and satisfied with my service. I always leave happy and with beautiful nails that last!

I enjoyed my time here. The nail tech that I had was amazing! She answered all of my questions and was very kind. I received a mani and a pedi. Both of the ladies were great!
