Look, maybe I’m crazy, and am writing this when I’m mad at the complex but frankly I’m annoyed. I’ve lived here a semester so far and while it’s a great location and rooms are solid, people are super nice, little events are fine too; something has been just poorly managed here this semester. All started the first day. During the move in days, the main elevator was out. You ever tried going up five flights of stairs after a 4 hour flight with 2 suitcases? It’s not fun. At all. Then try moving in all your boxes and a microwave and having to climb the stairs for that. And their response “ahh we will get it fixed soon”. If that was it well then you could call me lazy. But then the a couple months in, wifi goes out, not one day, not two, but a whole week. And after asking management, they don’t know what’s happening and advise US, the residents to call the internet company to ask. Excuse me? I’m just trying to do my homework and now I gotta call and talk to the internet company to explain to them the problem going on here.

Then on top of that we get random firm alarms going off ALL THE TIME that they then tell us maybe an hour later that are just faulty and we can ignore it. Glad to know that the hour spent with it going off, it was determined it was just faulty, it’s the boy who cried wolf story, should I expect every time it goes off for it to be a faulty one? And why is there always something wrong with it? Tried to call corporate one time to ask about all this and they never called me back…

Now, the wifi has been going out multiple times these past few weeks for a day or two here, a few hours there etc.and yet any questions are always answered with an “I don’t know” or a shrug or “oh something happened”. Any inquiries into a possible discount on the already expensive rent or utilities because of it is instead met with a laugh as if I was joking. In the era of everything being online, it’s not ideal. It’s now the Sunday before finals and the wifi has been out for half the day, and no one knows what going on. Isn’t that just peachy.

Great apartments with excellent location. Turkey found on 3rd floor north stairwell.

You can’t beat the location of the Wellington. It is so close to campus and stores. They also do community events like a Turkey hunt. I found Ariah the Turkey in the south elevator.

Maybe this is an emotional review, but I have lived here for 2 years (graduating in the spring 24) and last year was great, little to no problems but for some reason only 10 weeks into the semester this year has been so bad. Our internet has gone completely out for almost a week now, fire alarms randomly go off when there is no safety issue, and the front desk is not helpful as far as transparency goes. The first time we had the internet outage they made us residents call the company ourselves to create an account when we are already busy with school, and basically and now the 2nd time the internet goes out we have no idea what is going on.

Also- for some crazy reason, i was informed that we got a 'new' utility company with HIGHER RATES i've never heard of a company going with someone who charges more for the same service. Rents keep going up and they are taking advantage of college students

As a former resident, I’ve had a lot of issues with this leasing office. After I moved out, I didn’t cancel my auto pay through my bank to the Wellington. I came into the Wellington office and called them multiple times asking if they received a check. Management assured me they would never cash a check under my name since they knew I had moved out. I have been calling my bank since July to try to find out where this money is. All the meanwhile the Wellington incompetently cashed a check in my name to a current resident with a similar name to mine. Also this place is so cheaply made I could hear everything happening in the other apartments around me.

I am a junior at OSU and I absolutely love this place! It is my first year staying here and it is everything I thought it would be and more. The coffee bar, the courtyard, the Movie theater, and state of the art gym are amazing just to name a few. Nothing beats making popcorn and watching football with your roommates in the movie theater. Although the room and accommodations are very nice, the staff is first class. Everyone is so friendly and is always there if you have any questions or concerns. This is the best maintenance team that Columbus offers, and they are very prompt on responding to issues and are great people. I could write a book about this place because it is so great, but I highly suggest touring if you are thinking about living here. Danielle, the community assistant, always remembers me and makes sure I am taken care of. The Wellington makes me feel like home, and it will make you feel at home too:)

Overpriced. Noisy. Paper-thin walls. Poor design. Unstable tables. The only good thing is the location.
