The West Suburban Animal Hospital reviews
19Recently moved to the area and am so happy to be taking my pets here for their care! Took one pet for his first appointment recently. All the staff from check-in on through the appointment were professional, friendly, and personable. I truly believe they care about my pets which means a LOT! MANY thanks for all you do to also help us be safe during these challenging times.
It was our first time visiting And it was awesome. They were great to our dog and that’s all that matters to us. Their COVID-19 policies are outstanding and they do everything that they can to make you comfortable under these situations that we live in right now. Most of all they gave us great news about her dog and we will come back again and again.
I found them to be very accommodating to my dog in making her as comfortable as possible while there. The employees are nice and friendly. The take precautions to keep the dogs, employees and clients safe and healthy.
Honestly this place is amazing! The care for my dog was perfect! They wasted no time! Very friendly and professional people!
Listen. LISTEN. My dog sucks. Seriously, he's the worst. He has anxiety, terrible skin, non-stop ear infections, he tore his ACL, his paws are so big that they get infected all the time, he has seizures, he's deaf, his gas is awful, and he's kind of a jerk to any dude who walks within 10 feet of me. He's. The. Worst. But, he's my boy. And I love him more than I could ever describe to anyone.
As we have moved around a lot in the last ten years, we've known many vets. (Shout-out to Montgomery County in DC, West Wrigley in Chicago and Affordable Vet in Ann Arbor!) In fact, we even started with another vet in town when we moved to Toledo. We weren't happy and my boy would shake uncontrollably every time he entered the other vet. So, we started looking around. A colleague recommend West Suburban and it's been life-changing. The staff at West Suburban have handled the World's Worst Dog with so much love and attention. They've sat with me during tough talks and have thoroughly explained everything that they thought was best and/or needed. Their prices are reasonable.and I don't ever feel like I'm paying for things that I don't need. Dr. B.and Dr. Morman have treated my boy like he was the most important dog in the world, even though everyone knows he's actually the worst. I am grateful beyond words for the loving care my guy receives at WSAH. I don't know how much longer I have with my guy because he's old and his body is breaking down, but I do know there is no other place I'd ever let him receive the end-of-life care he will need (and deserves).
Our dog came to us from the Humane Society, where Dr. Thompson performed surgery on her completely fractured femur. The follow-up was great and they did not charge us for x-rays to see how her leg was healing. She's been fully healed for years, and now usually only goes for her annual check-up, but the staff is friendly, they actually interact with your pet and spend time to explain everything to you, get you an appt.the same or next day, and they do not overcharge.
Love WSAH and the thorough care and love they give to our Miss Rosie Mae! Very informative and always willing to take the time to answer any questions or concerns we have.
Great animal hospital, none better. I have total confidence in the staff and the support staff are awesome.
So far I am very pleased with our reception at this animal hospital. I especially loved the Dr calling my Tebow.our kid! He has surgery on the 20th. I feel confident it will go well.
The entire staff is amazing! Karma’s surgery went extremely well and her after care was above my expectations! We drove two hours to have Karma’s knee surgery done because we knew she was in the best hands! Would recommend without hesitation. 10 stars not 5!
Really great place! They got my dog in asap when she had an emergency and worked with us. Definitely recommend this vet!
Been with this group since Dr Thompson was the only vet and owner. Everything you need from your vet. They love their patients and pet owners. Treatment and shots are performed professionally. Very clean place!
The doctor and staff at West Suburban Animal Hospital are wonderful. They treated my grand dog so gentle and caring as if he was there own pet. Well done West Suburban, you certainly know how to treat your patients well!
Everyone takes great care of Fiona and they get us in promptly, I already highly recommended to friends!
Not happy with current vet and decided to switch. We really liked Julie the vet! She was very easy to talk to and explained everything which our previous vet did not do.
We were previously long time customers of West Suburban but moved to Perrysburg and tried another office. We decided to come back because we felt our dogs weren’t getting the same quality care that we always received at West Suburban. So glad we came back!
My experience at West Suburban Animal Hospital yesterday was so positive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and most of all patient and caring toward my “fur-baby” - Dr. Gary fully explained my pet’s medical problems and how to correct genetic issues to give my little guy a better quality of life. I feel confident that my pup will be running and playing again soon without pain.
Super care for our dog! Always attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. The facility is always clean and cheerful.
The staff is friendly & caring; knowledgeable & thorough. They keep us updated on vaccines and visits and don't delay to get us in to see the vet if there's an issue. 100% recommend
