Do not trust Victoria, I had been in contact with her over the past four weeks and three weeks ago. At that time, she told me to take the fourth class. Then jump into the first second third. Guaranteed my pre approval and loan interest rates for another month. Spoke with her today, she told me that she canceled my preapproval and loan application because she didn't get my certificate. Even though I had been text messaging her and Spoke with her on the phone before she even canceled it. She is a thief trying to bump up my interest rate. Told me I would have to reapply today. No thank you I will never bank with you guys ever.

Third Federal because my mortgage processor 2 months ago. Since then I continue to struggle with the performance of their website. They make mortgage payments difficult to find and not intuitive. Their transaction statements are difficult to understand and follow. I also have called customer support several times and sometimes the system just drops me. Technology wise they seem behind the times and I worry about my information. I would avoid them as a processor or mortgage company if you expect to have any interaction with them.

My loan agent was Whitney Ryan, was very helpful and diligent in helping me upto scheduled closing with the title company. However the backend closing team is super unprofessional, careless and lazy. Story Below:

I had made it clear to Third Federal that I am driving up from Texas to Move into my new home on the day of closing. They CLAIMED to have sent their wire transfer last week to the title company. But when the title company had asked them to send them them the Federal Reference Number (Wire confirmation Number) it took them hours and finally sent it title company at 4: 53 pm at the Close of Business day too late for the title company to transfer the title into my name to receive the keys in my hand. This task was only prioritized after I had called this branch around 3: 30 and not when the title company had communicated to third Federal around 1: 30. Not sure why it even took them 1.5 hours to get the confirmation code, but were able to make a verification claim that the wire transfer was sent in accordance to the Wire instructions from the Title company. Now at the end of the business day no keys to the home we closed on early in the morning and third federal won't accommodate us for the night since we are left homeless.

As background note: The Federal Reference Number is used to track down the wire.

The next morning a request was sent to the receiving bank from the title company to track down the wire from Third Federal, however it is easier for them to track down a wire from the initiating bank than it is from the receiving bank. The title company had gotten all other wires in the past few days except this one from Third Federal. Now Third Federal in not willing to cooperate and initiate a simple request to track down where their wire funds went. They keep going back in circles saying that they can rerack the wire transfer to the receiving bank and resend the money which will take a few days. Something is not adding up here. They are able to retract the funds from the bank but not initiate a request to find where the money went. And they are not willing to accommodate us for our stay while we are homeless in the middle of this mess.

I am on the brink of involving an attorney to investigate what is really going here.because no one seems to be telling the full truth here.

Their products seem pretty attractive but their unprofessionalism, and lack of process to ensure that wire transfer is successful is not worth it. As a Mortgage Lender transferring wire to a bank should be a simple task and the lender should have processes to ensure that the transfers are successful and that title company has received it. Not once did the lender confirm with title company if the wire was received and priority was not put on this until last min when I showed my frustration to the local bank. Please stay away!

Again my loan agent Whitney Ryan was very helpful and super professional with making sure I had all the paper work to schedule closing. The back end closing team is where this company lacks professionalism
