They way over charged my wife for basic outlet replacement. Then I call and asked for an itemized bill and 2 weeks later still waiting. All in all they over charged my wife and still haven't seen an itemized bill.

Attic fan installed and it vibrated the whole house plus the fan is temperature controlled but turns on when cool outside and no sun. Called about vibration and tech found no problem, still vibrates. Fan on at temperature lower than needed. Yesterday, 6/22/23 was cool with some sun. Today at 5am fan still on and temperature outside at 60. The thermostat has not been properly set. It need not turn on at these tempertures.
Though installed some time ago, and one return visit, fan has never been right.

It took but one day to reply to my complaint and one more day for a service man came to address the problem. He agreed the temp set at 80f (anormal outside temp) was to low and adjusted it to a more reasonable temperature for an attic fan.
My wife's complaint about the noise and vibration, he felt, was not excessive. But he added additional screws to the installation for added stability.
Though this original installation was done sometime ago and my original problems were not completely addressed at my first call back, my complaints had been full adressed long after the original installation.

I use Thompson Electric for all of my electrical work. When I call for any service they are very friendly and get me scheduled. The repairman do an excellent job. I am President of a Condo Association and they do all of are electric work when we need anything done. Thompson, thank you for doing a professional and excellent job from beginning to end!

This is the second time we have used Thompson Electric for our lighting installation. First in our living room, hallway, and basement stairway and second in our kitchen with ceiling and under counter lights. Both times the crew was very professional and friendly. Kyle and Tom did a fantastic job recreantly with our kitchen install and we are extremely happy with all of the work done. If you want it done right, go with the Pro's! We are delighted that we were able to hire Thompson electric to rewire the attic in our century home. Brian went above and beyond to solve various issues we were having, and the price was totally reasonable given the fact that this is high-skill, dangerous work. We were stressed about our outdated and, in some cases, nonfunctional wiring, but now all of our outlets and fixtures work and, more importantly, we have peace of mind. Thank you!

This company treats employees as disposable. Nepotism rules the office here which has resulted in a hostile workplace for outsiders. A "boss" lady in the office - anyone who works here will know who - has recently undergone some personality and attitude changes, and begun to rage out over small things and loudly yell at her employees - in front of other employees - until they cry. The company is not the same since Larry stepped down, and his practice of showing empathy toward the employees was abandoned. Awful, hostile workplace for office employees.

Recently bought a new house and the sellers hired Thompson Electric to fix a few things from the inspection. Upon moving into the home a tripped circuit breaker was noticed. After reviewing the receipt from the seller we knew it was a breaker Thompson electric worked on. We called Thompson electric and informed them of the situation. We spoke with Jen who immediately told us it was 125/hr for them to come back. We much would have preferred a conversation starting with coming back to check their work and going from there. We decided to hire a different electrician to review the situation. Well. BIG SURPRISE within 5 minutes the eletrician said the GFCI breaker was wired into a circuit that shared a neutral with another circuit. He stated this would cause the GFCI to break immediately and found it hard to believe it didn't trip as soon as it was installed (how we found it). We contemplated having Thompson come back to correct it, but seeing as they didn't install it correctly the first time decided against it. The real electrician was able to replace the circuit breaker with a GFCI breaker designed for the situation. Honestly could look past the mistake if Thompson Electric had been more eager to offer coming to check their work as opposed to making sure we knew we'd be paying 125/hr if it wasn't their fault.which it was.
