Thrifty Car Rental - Steubenville, Oh TLE

Not too bad! Called and spoke with thrifty regarding my chevy avalanche being detailed. The lady on the phone was nice enough, but you could tell she was in a rush, making it hard to ask questions. I tried several times to explain I wanted the outside washed, rims, tires, etc and that I wanted a full detail on the inside including leather protectant to keep it from cracking, and all she did was talk over me. She quoted $175. Told to take at 8: 30 and pick up at 4: 00.

They did an amazing job on the outside of the car and the rims and tires. The inside I would say was so-so. They missed the center console where the cup holders and storage compartment are. I don't mean inside it, but the outside of the compartment has a rubber mat that is removable and they did not lift it to clean it or wipe it. Crumbs and dust still there. The cup holders also lift out. They were not wiped or lifted out to clean under.

The roof of the truck was also not steam cleaned as requested. As was evident by the fact that there were still my kids handprints on the interior sunroof fabric. Where you open it and the sunroof window was s dusty.
I did not complain, because they only charged $135 instead of the quoted $175 and they are little things, but I would suggest a supervisor speaking with the detailer and quality checking for awhile until they are sure a full job is being done.

I rent all my rental vehicles from here, always have done me right! Great customer service very reliable vehicles!

Tried to rent a car. They took over $600 off my card and said they didn't. No rental and no refund until almost 45 days pass. Extremely upsetting. Hopefully July 29th I will get my money back. Most businesses have a ten day hold of some kind but this place is 45 days.

Inside of the car was decently cleaned, product was smeared in places. The real issue was the outside of the car, it was polluted with these white particles. All over the hood, the windows, in every little crevice on the outside of the car. Looked like hood had been sprayed with dust. I spent an hour or so cleaning it off after spending $225 dollars to have the car cleaned.

Mediocre rental and detail shop. They only put 100% effort into things that are their own and even when they do that it's a hack-job. They fire all the good help they get and they don't pay well at all. Horrible company. Fake friendliness.
