Timbers, Westerville OH

I moved in to an apartment here recently and have the best experience. My boyfriend and I ran into a crisis where the apartment we were supposed to be moving into had a pipe burst and get completely ruined 2 weeks before we were supposed to move in at another apartment complex. We toured Timbers and LOVED it. There is so much greenery and it is incredibly dog friendly (they even have a dog park!) The environment is extremely clean and management is so friendly, organized, and on top of everything. I also have nothing but great things to say about our leasing agent, Daliya. She made the process go incredibly well, she’s was beyond helpful, and had been so quick to respond on any questions/concerns we have had. She is awesome, SO friendly, and I have nothing but great things to say about her! Definitely request to tour with her! If you live here you will quickly realize how awesome of an environment it is! Maintenance is very helpful as well. They were quick to respond and fix any issues! Everyone is very professional and kind. I recommend living here!

Property management is the worst I have seen at any business. Flagrant disregard for basic human deceny and an apparent inability to perform even the most basic of upkeep if it requires spending ANY money. We recently formed a tenant union to fight back.

John, the property manager, is always a call away whenever you need anything. He has prompt responses and is always kind when helping fix any problems! I appreciate his readiness to help.

Also the Timbers is located on a beautiful property. I love living here!

These 5 star reviews are fake!

I have lived here since February of 2021. I would not recommend Timbers until Birge & Held take action and remove the current property manager Jonathan Schwarz. We have had numerous car and garage break ins, even a vehicle stolen. Multiple complaints directly to Jonathan get brushed aside and swept under the rug. We only have one trash compactor on the property and it is constantly over flowing, the smell is something straight out of hell.

We have had to create a Facebook page called Timbers Community Tenant Union in response to management censoring tenant complaints. In response Jonathan tore down all of the flyers around the property. If you’re thinking about moving here I urge you to look through this group.

Every time I visit here there is trash everywhere. Tenants don’t even have parking near their apartments and have to park in a parking lot where the lights have been out for months. All the trees are dead, the dog park is muddy, there is mail all over the ground near the mail boxes. The apartments themselves have SUPER thin walls and floors. They flood. Outlets are upside down. People get injured by broken doors. This is all just something I’ve noticed as A GUEST. I feel sorry for the people who have to live here because how much they pay for a mediocre renting experience. And of course tenants can’t complain because the management will come for them.

I am a new resident here. I absolutely love it. Daliya and the staff are awesome. My move in was very smooth. The community is amazing and my new neighbors are very polite. My apartment and the view is outstanding. I see myself being a long time resident

I’ve been living here 1 1/2 years and truly I have never had any problems. If there is anything I need, the boys come and fix it quickly with no issues. I live in a 3 bedroom and we feel like we live in an updated house with all the apartment amenities! The pool is our favorite but you also have access to a nice gym and sometimes they have fitness instructors if you want to take a class. I loved renting out the leasing office for my kid’s bday parties & renting out the movie theater was also a hit in our family. I would recommend this complex to anyone. 10/10!

Timber’s is awesome. Property is clean and very resort like. Management staff is very involved, friendly, very community like. Apartments are very nice and the gym and pool are amazing. Timber’s apartments are probably the best in the area!

Timbers is amazing! The Summer and Liv always have fun resident events, food trucks, and are extremely easy to work with. The tour, application, and move in were all seamless and positive experiences. I'm so happy I moved here!

Been here for a couple of months now, and I'm loving it. The amenities are awesome, and the girls in the office do a fantastic job with everything. From maintenance requests to organizing community events, they're on top of it.

Many problems with this place.

I moved from out of state and they offered two apartments with an eastern and western window exposure. I asked for eastern, however, they apparently mixed up the facing, looking west. Shame on me for not doubting their word.

Internet is AT&T only, no coax. There is ethernet in the walls but they are having some kind of fight with AT&T so they refuse to cut connectors.

No overhead lighting in the bedrooms.

Vaguely threatening to jack up rent next year.

Update: In particular the leasing agent (Liv) and property manager (Summer) have turned this into a complete nightmare. Full hostile, full self-help, psycho sales behavior.

Location, location! Timbers is a one of the best kept secrets in Westerville. Nestled next to Alum Creek gives it the resort feel with all the ammentities you need. And all the staff is on point in making it feel like home.

Honestly, the best place to live at. The apartments have a cabin vibe feel, with an amazing. I mean AMAZING GYM.and a big pool! The staff is not really staff.they are family. They treat you like family and care so much about all of us. I definitely recommend:)

Staff was great but closed a hour early at 5 when the hours on the door said 6 & the door was locked

Very nice complex, safe and secure entrances. The gym, pool, theater and lodge are top notch! Not to mention easy access to the bike trail.

Really nice place to live. It’s brand new, close to Uptown Westerville and Polaris, has low utility bills and has a walking/biking trail located right behind it.

Best apartment of all time! Incredible gym and amenity package, staff is incredible as well! If I could give 6 stars I would.
