Tim's Tavern reviews
17Every meal is a good meal at Tim's. The service is ALWAYS amazing. We often get Anya and she is so sweet and accommodating. The sea food is solid! The hush puppies are the best around. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Occasionally you get the staring customer, but that has nothing to do with the restaurant. We will keep coming back!
Nice place. Had the cod. Was very good. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. Great food
I ordered the cod fish sandwich. It was huge! 2. Ig pieces breaded cod on a really good bun. Haven't eaten there in so long. Will definitely make it someplace more regularly I eat at. They also do take out! Great food for the price.
I went there in 2005 when I saw Marino inducted so I figured a visit was in order when I came for Zach Thomas. Every bit as good as I remembered. Well worth the stop. Known for its excellent fish and it didn't disappoint! A must for any visit to Canton!
Food was excellent. Service wonderful. Atmosphere very good. Menu was a little pricey but OK.
The hush puppies were great! We also had the beer battered mushrooms which were amazing. Service was great.
Hush puppies are some of the best ever. Ask for the sweet butter to make it even better!
We missed the Walleye by one day, but it is amazing from last time we were there. Had the Perch dinner myself and others had various dinners, all amazing.
It's OK just not as good as use to be I think prices are high for 2 peace fish dinner
I could not believe they charge $4.50 for a beer that's way to much! Hushpuppies are great!
From the lobster bisque to the seafood salad to the fish sandwich with ranch fries, we all had a great meal.
Had beer battered fish, frys, coleslaw and their fabulous hushpuplies! My first time there, but won't be the last! Delicious meal!
Recommend by a friend that is a local. This is a must local ooak food experience. You must try the peanut butter pie. It almost made me want to move here but Florida is to beautiful to leave.
The portions are quite small for the price. I did not find the fish to be anything unusual. The hostess was friendly and helpful. However, I ordered carry out and picked it up at the bar and I'm not sure that the person even knew I was there. I will not revisit the place.
I remember we first came here close to 50 years ago when you could still see the old Myers Lake Amusement Park. They've added on and upgraded but I came in here last time thankfully on a Fri afternoon and not a Fri night when it took my party of 5 over 2hrs to be seated and close to another hour to be served. EXCELLENT FOOD though and a great "tavern-ish" atmosphere with the original bar and barstools still there and the old tables and chairs too. The addition is on the other side of the kitchen and is more "stark. " The walls are a very bright hospital white on this side or maybe it's the bright lights over there. Either way, I prefer to sit 'barside. ' They've still got all those old beers your dad used to drink too, which brings back lots of memories for you. PBR me ASAP!
We've been going here for years. Known for fish but there are so many other options including chicken and steak
Old time restaurant and bar. Can't beat that. Add the beer batter fish and it is a night of memories.
I always talk about going there because I was there every Friday as a kid with my grandparents. I was not disappointed with my memories. The food was delicious and the place looked awesome. Would definitely recommend as a great place to eat and enjoy.
