Tiny Tom's Chimney Cleaning Sweep and Repair-Cleveland

I spoke with Tom about a downdraft issue I’m having in my 90 year old house and he talked me through some steps that I can take to mitigate the issue until I can get a plumber to install a new high efficiency water heater. He could have come to the house and charge me for the same advice but he was glad to offer these simple, temporary fixes at no charge. Thanks Tom I appreciate your help.

The first time I called Tiny Tom's, a repair man did come out in a timely manner, which is the only reason I hired them (other chimney sweeps had a longer wait list). Unfortunately, Frank, the repairman, claimed to have capped my chimney (to keep out bats and birds that were getting in) except he didn't actually do what he claimed to have done (as evidenced by water leaking in through my chimney now, which never happened before he claimed to have completely sealed it). When I called to explain the job was not done properly, Frank said he would come back out on a specified day. I sat at home that entire day waiting on him and he never showed. I contacted Tiny Tom again to express my dissatisfaction and was told Frank would be reaching out to rectify the situation. That was probably two months ago and there has been no communication from them. I don't know how anyone can recommend a company with such poor customer service. Although I can understand why they don't want to try to fix the problem, because that would require admitting that they lied when they claimed to have done work that they clearly didn't. Do yourself a favor and wait if you have to for a more reputable company. Tiny Tom's quick response time is really just proof that they don't have a lot of business, and I'm sure no repeat customers.
