TLC Pet Care Centers reviews
21I've had nothing but a good experience with Michelle. She's compassionate and empathetic towards everyone and has been more than gentle with my sweet kitty cats.i recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you for giving me the best experience, and Michelle, keep up the great work.
The doctors and staff are so inviting and treat you with such compassion. I have been to plenty of vets to where I have had to question customer service. Not here, I would highly recommend this establishment!
I had to put down my chow chow and my dog had muzzle on known to bite which was fine, they took him in back room, then nurse slash receptionist came in to collect all monies for procedure had me sign some form for covid I'm crying my eyes out didnt read it, then I heard my dog cry out, dr came in with harness and leash, the doctor l think left heard her saying bye to staff, I had no idea what was going on i sat their with my dogs harness and leash crying waiting to say goodbye. No one came, my daughters friend went to front desk and receptionist said i thought she understood covid procedures, nothing was explained to us,
The receptionist opened door and waved to us to come back only to see my dogs eyes open vomit coming from mouth and was allready dead. I received his ashes today and in his honor I post this for my baby named Bear, dont take your pets here if you love them
The first time I took a pet there was on the recommendation of my sister who had been using them for years for vet services as well as boarding. My daughters Jack Russell “Taylor” had organophosphate poisoning. Somehow her body had absorbed some bug spray that had been sprayed to kill ants that were coming in during several days of rain. She was gravely I’ll. The Signs and symptoms Came on very fast. Another few hours and she would’ve been dead. They saved her life. They were compassionate to me as well. I had to come back everyday for the next 3 days for a series of injections. The vet bill was very reasonable, especially when considering all that was done. I use them for both of my dogs and they have been wonderful.
Two star is because I have no clue. They could be good, but online they say they’re open in sundays at 8 which they’re not open at all with they’re schedule in the door plus there sign out front says 7 days a week which that’s a lie because they’re 100% closed on Sunday.
Nice weekend shot clinic if you don't need to see the vet you can save money just getting their shots.
Its a very afforable place to take your pet and i love that they are open 7 days a week. They are very gentle and loving towards your pet. I wont go anywhere else for pet care!
To be fair I’ve never been inside of this facility, nor have I used their services. Nor would I ever. Getting my oil changed at the Jiffy Lube behind it, these are the tiny cages packed full of dogs. I hope TLC doesn’t stand for Tender Loving Care!
My dog came in for a check up on 11/10/16, he also got a heart worm test, heart worm prev, all his shots, a fecal exam, and many other things.they have wonderful doctors and staff.i will bring more of my pets here and tell everyone else about them. Their prices are very good as well.
These people treat animals AWFUL! I had my oil changed it was almost 100 degrees outside and 3 dogs were left outside in concrete cages with no water! I kept checking while my oil was being changed like 35 to 40 if they had brought them in and they hadn't till I called! Awful! Animal abuse. I feel bad they were so hot and panting profusely! Don't take your pets here!
Terrible. I've been going to them for 11 years for my cat (preventative care) but when he fell ill they gave us the complete runaround and cost me over $1,000 in unnecessary tests, then they had the audacity to charge me a "revisit fee" to return when they didn't have the injection on hand.
I've always had an icky feeling about them but when my cat only needed shots, the care was fine (affordable). Also, they refer to the most expensive specialists in the area. For example, they thought my cat had cancer. Referred him to an oncologist, who poked long needles into my cat's liver, took blood 3 times, took x-rays/ultrasounds. Only to find out he had a tooth infection. Well duh, that's why I originally brought him in to the vet!
Picking up my records and finding another vet today.
Very overpriced.make you sit and wait when not having other customers. Very rude. Want you to sign papers if you refuse treatment. Whats this for so they can call animial welfare? Mabe to try to scare ya to pay thier prices. When i refuse to sign this paper.they told me they would not treat my dog. Thats the idea! I took my dog to a different vet and was in and out in half the time. I was treated with respect and for a third of the price.
I have been taking my Puggle there for over 3.5 years now and never had a single problem. Had her spade and all issues have been handled and diagnoised properly. Doctors are always great and staff is kind and friendly. Good place to take your pet!
We stopped by for their weekend vaccination clinic. We didn't have to wait at all. They walked out and gave the shots to our dog in the lobby, which is a huge plus for us because he always gets nervous as soon as he's shut in an exam room. This is the smoothest shots have ever gone.
Worst place ever, I think they added things to my bill to make up for not making money that week, was told alot of false statements about my puppy. So watch out if you go there, they will add alot of money to your bill and alot of u necessary things to your bill.
Been a customer for 8+ year. This is by far the most economical hospital, however, my son was recently taken advantage of and overcharged on his visit. Staff has yet to offer a solution to this issue. I'm very disappointed in the response and will take my loyal business elsewhere. Im not sure if there have been recent changes to the practice, but Beware!
I took ky dog there in Jan 2012 to get his shots and it was a lot cheaper then going to my normal vet. They have extended hours and I didn't have to wait. Very clean, friendly and everything went great.
I had my grandmas dog in the sycamore animal hospital while out of town. He got really sick, lost all his weight.skin and bone. They might have said he had some kind of worm but couldn't pin point what had happened. He had died.leaving grams very lonely. We should have sued them!
My cat has never had any major problems, but I take her here once a year for her shots. Great price if you just need shots. The place is clean, and there's rarely any wait. Doctors and nurses are friendly; receptionist could be a little friendlier. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I'm pretty critical, and I thought this place was fine - great for the $.
I love the staff. The prices are great, very reasonable. Staff is knowledgeable and will not force any treatment on you that you don't want or can't afford like some other vets. They let you know up front the prices before they go on and give the shots to let you deside if you want the service. They have 2 locations and they are open 7 days a week.
