TLC Roofing and Restoration, Tallmadge OH

This company caused tens of thousands of dollars to my neighbor’s roof and garage and vehicle. After 4 days of phone calls, the owner finally came to the house to inspect the damage his company caused and essentially told my neighbors to pound salt. Refused to provide insurance info - assuming he is not insured. Oddly enough, I am not the only neighbor who has posted a negative review on this company, and not one of them is posted. Google, do your due diligence! This company is borderline fraudulent - at the very minimum, they are incapable. Buyer beware. RUN!

Put a new roof on my house, top notch quality, fixed all previous shoddy workmanship from when the previous roof was put on 17 years ago. Highly recommended. Nick Newberry knows what he is doing.

After requesting an itemized invoice of what they did owner denied it and hung up after being called out for his general attitude towards me

We are very pleased with our roof replacement from TLC. TLC's price was competitive with other estimates we received. Our Project Manager Mike was very easy to work with and was very responsive to any of our questions or concerns. The work crew was hard-working and courteous. Our roof isn't super big, approximately 12 "square", but I was amazed at how quickly they were able to complete the job, from the time the shingles were delivered to the final cleanup was roughly only 9 hours. The roof looks great and most importantly we have peace of mind knowing that the Owens Corning Duration shingles should last for many years to come. With so many roofing companies to choose from, it can be overwhelming to know who to trust, I 100% recommend TLC!

During a storm we experienced wind and storm damage to our roof and siding. TLC walked us through the process with our insurance company. Don went above and beyond working with our insurance company. His crew did an outstanding job with the roof, gutters and siding replacement. Everyone was pleasant and respectful. We highly recommend them. They took a negative issue and made it a positive experience.

This is the second home we have hired TLC to put a new roof on. Their eye for detail is outstanding. The color suggestions for the shingles really improved the curb appeal of both homes. I would recommend Don and his crew to anyone and know I steered them in the right direction.

After a hail storm damaged our roof TLC was contacted and reacted promptly. They were very helpful in making sure the insurance reviewed all of the damage. The roof was replaced very quickly and looks amazing. We did have a few concerns and the employees and owner were very helpful and making sure we were comfortable with the job. We appreciated all of their kindness and professionalism during the process.

Mike was absolutely the best helped us the Whole way through process fighting with insurance company making sure that we were satisfied with the job not the 1st time we used them we had a roof put on 2 years ago and now siding of our home. The workers were prompt respectful of our property great team. We are so happy and definitely recommend this company!

TLC Restoration was phenomenal from start to finish. I’ll break it down:

Customer service: Don and Matt walked with me through the process from start to finish. They explained everything thoroughly, from financing to type of shingle they would use etc…. The office crew was great and made sure I had the paperwork I needed, from billing to insurance and beyond.

The product: TLC only uses the best stuff and they know how to put it on efficiently. They re-roofed my home and garage in one day. I had three layers to tear off and at least half of the roof needed new decking due to improper ventilation. I couldn’t believe it, but their crew got the whole thing done in 12 hours.

TLC is a great company and I recommend them highly.

I called to inquire about putting up some cedar shake on my home, lady that took our call said:

“We’re too busy for that. ”

Turning down business, not a very good business tactic.

I HAD DON DO AN INSPECTION IN 2020 WHEN THE AKRON AREA GOT HIT WITH A HAIL STORM, DON INSPECTED THE ROOF AND VERIFIED THERE WAS HAIL DAMAGE AND HE MET WITH THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER ONLY TO JACKED AROUND BY THEM AS THEY SAID NO DAMAGE. NO FAST FOWARD A YEAR AND A TREE FELL ON MY ROOF SO I CALLED DON TO SEE IF HE WANTED TO GET INVOLVED AGAIN AND HE JUMPED RIGHT ON IT, HE MET THE ADJUSTER AND WOW NOT ONLY DID I HAVE DAMAGE FROM THE TREE BUT THERE WAS HAIL DAMAGE? DON HANDLED EVERYTHING AND MY ONLY JOB WAS TO SIT AND WATCH. HE STA WITH ME AND GAVE ME ADRESSES TO LOOK AT A COUPLE DIFFERENT COLOR OPTIONS AND WELL AS THE COLOR FOR THE GUTTERS WHICH I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT EVERYTHING GOT COVERED THANKS TO DON, I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMED HIS AND HIS SERVICES.

We used TLC for a new roof. We could not be any happier. The process was so easy start to finish. We would highly recommend them for really anything. The clean up was fantastic the crew was fantastic as well. Thank you for everything and will definitely give you a call for anything else.

Professional job, professional materials, very timely and followed through on timelines that were discussed. Provided many different colors to choose from, above and beyond. Mike was extremely awesome to work with, followed through, met deadlines set, always answered the phone, and made sure we were happy customers. They did a great job on clean-up and did a quality overall job. We would recommend Mike and his company and team to anyone.

This company is top notch. I just recently had my siding replaced and the work is amazing and fast! I had the pleasure of working with John Hetzel and his crew who were very professional. I highly recommend this company if you need siding work done!
