Tokyo Express, Perrysburg OH

Ordered 2 diff ramen dishes. (As well as a couple other items). Neither ramen tasted nor smelled rt. I didnt say anything until my dining companion did. I approached them to let them NICELY know we wanted to share info as we woukdnt be eating it and advised them to check their ingredients something didnt taste nor amell correct. The noodles werre off. The little lady crossed her arms and said we have been making it this way for 5 years and never once a complaint so there is nothing wrong. I said, in restaraunt business there are always complaints and I am am sure there were others. So thanks for listening but we won't be back. Not once was there a sorry you didn't like or or enjoy it nor a thought crossed to reimburse even a portion of $ spent.
Therefore, let me state, we were NOT impressed w food NOR customer service. Will not be back. Highly recommend you do NOT stop by. That's the nicest I can put it.

Food was good. Got chicken hibachi and a sushi roll.

Pop from the machine. Well. It had a sheen and chunks of something in it. Gross.

Sat in and ate. They do not have any plates in the place apparently? So we shared out of a styrofoam container. Odd.

Cashier did not give me correct change and shorted me two dollars.

I thought she did but did not want to question her.because I got no receipt till the food came out. Then I knew for sure. Didn't make a big deal figured it could be her tip since she count.

Great food and fresh. I do not think any dishes are premade. Sushi, bento boxes and soups are delicious. My favorites are the Tofu Bento box and the Veggie sushi roll, with a side of chili sauce. My hubby gets the beef teriyaki or hibachi steak which he always says is so tender. Very nice people who do a lot of take out orders. These folks are hoping during lunch and dinner rushes. You can eat inside although the ambience is sterile. One of our regular retaraunt haunts.

I give two stars because I feel this restaurant was lazy in making the ramen correctly.
The sushi rice was not really sushi rice, they just used regular cooked rice.
I had the ramen chicken and the picture shown in the restaurant is dark chicken breast cut in long strips. When I got it, my chicken was hibachi chicken and the vegetables were hibachi veggies.definitely not ramen. Everything was only pepper powder flavor.disappointed ️
Please don't sell ramen if you can't make it correctly.just name it hibachi chicken noodle soup.

I highly recommend Tokyo Express. The food is fresh and flavorful. The spring rolls, and chicken teriyaki are a kid favorite. I personally love the shrimp tempura roll. I love that you can personalize your sushi.

Very poor quality food. Veggies in the hibachi were cold and hard still, fried rice had no flavor, and the meat was undercooked and nothing but fat.

Not worth the $20.

The people were kind of rude that portions were small and I wanted noodles instead of rice and she still charged me extra.

THE best Asian cuisine in all of Toledo! Beef fried rice, shrimp and steak teriyaki are amazing mains. The shrimp tempura sushi and dynamite rolls are my favorites among sushi. Crab Rangoon is definitely my favorite of all crab rangoons ever! Portion sizes are very generous. If you are trying to decide between Asain restaurants don't pass this place up. It will not disappoint!

My only problem with this restaurant is I no longer can eat sushi anywhere else because it doesn’t even slightly compare to their sushi. The staff are always so friendly and the food is never anything less than amazing. (I would know considering I am there at least once a week haha)

Great food but horrible customer service. Even after terrible service I still tipped and told them thank you before I left and they said nothing back. Very rude!

Tried the beef ramen. Was bland and just not what I have come to expect from any place that serves genuine ramen bowls.

Also had an order of the eel sushi. That was pretty good but certainly not on the same level as other places I've had freshly prepared sushi.

Quick and delicious comfort food!
We ended up grabbing dinner here when we found out that our original destination was closed.
I was impressed with the variety of options here for both meat eaters and vegetarians alike- lots of sushi rolls, noodles and soup. Everything is very affordable and delicious. The serving sizes were generous and everything was seasoned well.
Don’t underestimate this small restaurant.their dishes and rolls are better and cheaper than some of the more upscale places.

We stopped here for the first time today and I can't tell you how great the sushi was. I got the Dragon Roll and my daughter got the Dynamite Roll. They were both fresh and very tasty. We also got the Miso soup which was also very good. I highly recommend Tokyo Express and we will be stopping back again the next time we are out this way!

Best food we've had in a while. My husband won't stop talking about how good it is while we're eating. Great service and friendly staff.

Fast and friendly employees. Food was fantastic. I don't do sushi so can't help you there but my side of the menu was great.

Wife and I enlisted in the Army. Were home for 9 months for training and had 1 day back in the area to pack up to move to our station.
We ate here. This was our favorite place to eat the 2 yrs we lived in Ohio and we will sorely miss the wonderful owners, staff, and food.
It was well priced, everyone was always friendly.
They remembered my HIGHLY customized order 9 months after not ordering it. Love Tokyo Express.
Highly recommend!

Eggroll were good but very small. Dumplings very good. I got the chicken noodles soup not that great. Think it was a bit pricey for what we got.
