Toledo Clinic Cancer Centers

I went for an infusion today I never felt like such an inconvenience to the nurse that hooked me up she was rude dismissive to worried about gossiping with co workers to be bothered by the patient never came back to check on me offer a blanket unhooked me never gave me instructions on follow up just plain out rude!

Dr. Rashid has been excellent. Spent time with me, answered all my questions, and was very attentive and personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a hematologist. That said, today I tried to call to change an appointment and was left on hold with 6 callers in front of me for 30 minutes [the number of callers ahead NEVER changed during that 30 minutes]. Eventually I gave up. I called back several more times later with the same result. So either something is very broken about the call system or TCCC needs to hire more operators. This situation is totally unacceptable.

I took my grandmother for her appointment scheduled at 12: 15 and was told they were running 35-40 minutes behind, we weren't taken in the back until 1: 30 and then waited until 2: 20 to even see the doctor. All of this stress and headache for a 10 minute conversation with the doctor which in return made us have to cancel another appointment for this afternoon. There was hardly any communication from the staff during the entire time which is the most frustrating part.

First and foremost I recommend you see anyone at this location of Toledo clinic but I have been seeing Dr. Burton and he is one of the best things that happened in my life he has been treating me for cml and he has gotten my numbers down to normal but I don't care for the medicine to many side affects but I'm alive but I would also like to address the entire staff at this Toledo location they are the most caring people who has been involved with me and from the who ever answer the phone all the way down to the staff who are checking you in I have recommended two different people and they said that they are so happy with this place. I bring two dozen donuts for everyone to enjoy a snack before lunch and I always ask for a early appointment just for that reason and my wife is also treated great.if you need a oncologist please check with them first because you will not regret my references and you can expect the same treatment as everyone else does thank you Toledo clinic on Holland your the best

Dr. Rashid is the most kind doctor I have ever came across. He gives you the time you need with never leaving you feeling like he's in a rush. He seems very thorough. He even contacted my other doctor that is involved in my care on his personal phone in front of me in the room to confirm that they all are on the same page. He has a positive demeanor and cares about my comfort and anxiety. Wow! I would recommend him to anyone.

Terrible.waited over a month to see my doctor, he wasn't there.they never called me to tell me and wasted my time.do yourself a favor and call to make sure your doctor will be there see you before you go there!
