I think Drunk drivers need a more harsh punishment. 3 day DIP program doesn't resolve anything. They are back on the streets doing the same thing.

Walked in to get married after reading on their website that it was from 1: 30-3pm, no appointments needed. Drove all the way from a different state to get the marriage license and get married same day, just to be told that appointments for marriage were now required even though their website was not updated. No one in the civil department knew what was going on, and no one jumped to help us. Ended up just going across the street to somewhere that actually cared about us. Would not recommend going here for any kind of civil service and definitely will not be recommending it in the future.

Be careful! They move you through as fast as possible, with as few questions as possible. Know that you qualify for a public defender at 200% of the Ohio poverty income. I was asked how much I made, I first incorrectly responded with $1000 dollars a week, then corrected to $1000 a month. The public defender who was at my pre-trial didn’t listen and told me I didn’t qualify, which was incorrect. He didn’t even take the time to listen to me correct my response, and disqualified me. I was forced to get a lawyer based on this disqualification, which ended up costing me $4500.

Also, while on probation, my probation officer switched everything she had said originally, at the first appointment, the second time I saw her. First saying I didn’t need to take urine screens, then later saying I did. This didn’t matter to me, but it changed my circumstances as I don’t have transportation, and can’t afford transportation as often as I need it to make it to these drug screens.

It would be nice to have the entire process correctly laid out in the first visit, instead of finding out 3 weeks later, that the information given in the first appointment was false. I suggest writing down each point laid out every time after the appointment with a probation officer. It may help later down the line, always question the information given to you.

Don’t trust anything they say, and do all your own research. This whole thing is a money grab. They get you in and out as fast as possible, before you can think about what’s happening. Once again, be careful.

I had to handle an issue with my car and had to see Lisa Keebler. When my time was up and I was called, I walked into her office and thanked her for seeing me.

She was absolutely the rudest, most snottiest person I have EVER dealt with who interacted with the public. It is astonishing she is still on the payroll and behaved as if there was zero accountability for her attitude.

Sometimes you get the feeling that someone is having a bad day and can overlook it with patience and a smile but this was plainly not the case with Lisa. Her interaction with me was nothing short of malicious and if she held anything other than a position that was on a beaurocratic level that she could hide behind, she would have lost her job.

I have to be honest, I can't be strong enough in this review to describe her negative behavior. I can only hope that she is either relieved of her duties or you never have the misfortune to be in her presence.

I believe this is all a scam to make money. The bathrooms here are dirty and disgusting. The judges don't care if u r guilty or not as long as u have a ticket and have to appear in front of them they are going to find u guilty.no matter what! The public defenders are so stupid and don't even try.so what's the point.u mine as well go in front of the judge and say I did it and what's my fine because that's goi bff to be the outcome anyway.

Corruption at its finest. You will get brutally beat, raped by ProMedica security and Toledo police. They will have no proof or evidence against you when there is a lot of proof and evidence against them and the court will not get the proof tell you videos have a funny way of disappearing. Refuse to allow you to get medical attention for your injuries and brain concussion, refuse you to get your rape results. Refuse you to stand trial unless you are so screwed up on drugs you can't think. No justice only corruption.

I was so pleasantly surprised today at the clerk of Courts, The Clerk was helpful and pleasant and kind to this old lady who didn't know all the rules. A special thanks to the young man who waited on me.
