Toledo Skyway Marina reviews
11 It's a small museum
It's good but small not too much to see inside
Tickets are 11$ for adult and if the ship is open it's 17$ and kids under 5 are free.
Just the building was open and The ship was not open today
we liked the museum but it was too small and not worth the 11$ ticket.
Nice area, well maintained. Love how the metropark system is really expanding the entire area
The museum was wonderful but for us senior citizens we paid the extra to go on the tugboat in the freighter and the freighter ramps were unacceptable for senior citizens in the railing there not one of the three of us could do it
Cargo ship & Tug boat are interesting! If you like to look around take 1+ hrs. Museum is very good as well! Take 1+ hour.
Great museum. Very interactive. A lot of videos that go along with the readings and pictures. They also provided a stylus so you did not have to touch the multiple screens throughout the museum. They have also placed artifacts with in the museum as well as on the large cargo ship you can also walk in and explore as part of the museum.
Perfect place for a short walk at dusk while taking gorgeous sunset photos with downtown Toledo as a backdrop
This place so amazing beautiful night see light l love it my friend show me where that place i go back sometime
It's amazing to stand next to these ships and see how huge they are. I'm a bit of a boat nerd, so I might be biased, but I love it. Make sure to get pics of the Manistee and American Valor while they're still here
Visited the Great Lakes Museum and toured the freighter and the tug. Wonderful experience. The self guided tour allowed me to learn and take photographs at my own pace. I have visited the museum before and pre Covid19 it was very "hands on". A great way to spend your afternoon.
The best thing about this marina is that there are floating docks and the Nautical Museum is on the property. There is a Tony Packos restaurant within walking distance about a mile or so away. There were no staff on the property and the office is on a boat. A handwritten sign on the boat window told us it was closed and the gas docks were closed down. There were hundreds of seagulls and ducks that had laid their white deposits on the docks so badly that we had to use our water hose and wash a path so we could walk the dock without tracking it onto our boat. Because of COVID, the shower rooms were shut down.but the restrooms were open.
