Family Restaurant Tommy's reviews
39I love the falafels here my favorite is the JJ. Tommy’s also has the best French fries hands down. They even serve them without salt and guess what they are still excellent. Sometimes I just choose to eat them that way. If you are going with someone else, you may wanna share the plate is FULL of fries. I assure you both of you will be FULL too lol. Tommy’s has great breakfast too!
I never thought I'd buy a burger and have to pay for the lettuce tomatoes and fries etc separately, but overall it's an ok spot food quality is great. I sometimes dont like going in to see the wait staff talking more with each other then what the customers need.but again it's still a nice place
Tommy's not only has vegan on the menu.but their seitan sub is not only a meal in itself but very SCRUMPTILICIOUS.and service is prompt, friendly and courteous. EVEN when they are crazily BUSY.the wait for a table is well worth it!
.
Tommy's has to be Cleveland's most popular east side neighborhood restaurant. Great food on a large and varied menu, pleasant surroundings, good service. Always busy, which says a lot about it.
Excellent service. Great menu. A little something for everyone. My daughter is vegetarian and I am gluten free. Great selection. Just wish you had a gluten free pizza but the curt burger was awesome on the gf bun. I'll be back for sure.
Vegetarian French onion soup is lit. Excellent soy "milkshakes. " Tommy's suffers slightly from having an over long menu, most things are merely pretty good. Great place to hang out, and basically everything can be vegan or at least vegetarian.
Love this place keep it up pops. This helped me get through my marital problems. It's very big though, I lost my nephew in this establishment please help. 4 out of 4 I'm going to jail
Food as very good, service was friendly, prices are about what you expect. The space is much larger than appears from the street. Didn't open until 9AM, though, on Sunday. We'll return!
Great Meat Pie, great portion of fries, but the wait staff could use some training on customer interaction and not be so somber and detached from their main reason for being there, provide the customer a good experience.
Called my order in and was told it would be thirty minutes, that was fine. By the time I made there, 55 minutes had passed. Only to be told they hadn't even started, after they ran my credit card! I left and returned to pick up my cold food! The only upside was that they refunded my charge
Great little place for old favorites and discovering new favorites! I get something new everytime and I'm never disappointed. Service is above par as well
Good place to eat if you have ethical eaters in your group. I've heard great things about their soy milkshakes, but I have not had one myself. I always get a meatpie, and they're always good.
Everyone I know loves this place. I got a meat pie (don't remember which) and was not entirely impressed. Great vegetarian and vegan options though.
Tommy's has been a favorite place for my family for nesrly three decades. You'll see Tommy toiling away on his cooking station always ready to welcome you and make your visit special. That's why after all these years when my kids from Boulder, Columbus or the Heights want healthy, delicious food in a friendly setting, we're here. My favorite is the Jenny, of course with at least one plate of those perfect fries! On weekends it gets busy but we know our wait has its rewards.
This place is a gem for vegans. Huge menu, many vegan options. My faves are the wildflower and the black bean chili.
Everything was very fresh the best salads fries amazingly good and the hummus by far the best in South West north and east got them all beat sandwiches burgers were all delish.
Tommy's is by far one of myy favorite places to eat. The place itself has a cool, retroish vibe. The food is top notch and they always get it right. The Spiked Hummus is AMAZING! Right now, I'm hooked on that and the Wildflower which is falafel on pita bread with veggies and sesame sauce. They have variations of this "sandwich" with different names and I've loved every one I've tried. The milkshakes, too, are delish. I cant say enough good things about this place
It had been years since we'd been to Tommy's, we stopped in after a movie at the Cedar Lee - the Spiked Hummus is still the BEST hummus around!
Then it was a ham & cheese.
