Toodik Family Campground Cabin & Canoeing reviews
26Love this place.camping on the river was great and no one bothers you.had a great time with the family here.can't wait to go back
Nice place to go camping grandkids loved it got a swimming pool putt putt golf trails to hike and ride definitely going back
Great campsite, it's clean and the store here is convenient. They have essential groceries, wood, ice and other things in their store. The pool is also nice and clean, the campsite has water and electricity hook up (make sure you have adapter or buy one in store here). Overall had a great experience! Definitely coming back
Very nice place! Beds in cabins not the most comfortable, but was a place to lay your head. Over all I would recommend this place, but would suggest if you are a bit older like myself bring something to put over your mattress, like an egg shell topper, or a memory foam topper.
The pool is very small and not toddler friendly. Everything seems outdated with RVs that look like they have been there since the 90's.
Great little campground, the setting is nice and restrooms and showers were pretty decent by camp standards. We went canoeing and it was really nice to have the river almost to ourselves. Four stars because the sites we had were pretty small. A lot of the other sites were bigger than ours so we would try to choose larger ones next time.
What a great place! They are friendly and so helpful. We love camping here every year and our family looks forward to each summer. The place is always clean, very relaxing and quiet.
Great place to camp! We have been coming here for the past 6 years, and we look forward to each trip.
The employees were friendly and the price was good but the campground itself was a little run down. We camped next to the river and the gravel trail leading to it is steep, narrow, and full of pot holes. The mosquitoes were outrageous (even after bug spray)! Moving to the restrooms, there was a portapot on the same level as the river and an actual bathroom and shower up that terribly steep hill. I did not use the shower but could tell the entire building was in need of an update. There was a pool and cabana. They were decent and my children and I enjoyed them.
60 year olds and up to camp. The owners are really rude. They're really strict with the rules. You have to be 14 and up to swim without an adult. My cousins got told twice if they don't come to the pool with an adult, we'll be kicked out. (My cousins are 9 and 10, they can swim) so my cousins went back with 3 adults and still got kicked out. Quiet time is at 10. I'll NEVER ever coming here again!
Love the place. Plenty of room in each lot. Many fun thing to do near by like canoeing or go carts or put put.
We are seasonal campers at Toodik for over 20 years. Owners do enforce rules and glad they do for the safety of all. This past weekend some folks decided they do not have to follow rules. The owners dealt with in a timely and professional way. The management goes out of it's way to help any and all. If u want a safe and family campground. Give them a try.
It is very nice and quite here. They have nice size camp sites with good shade trees. The owners and employees are very nice and fun to talk to. They also have plenty of activities for your family, adults and children. The scenery is beautiful all around you here. The only thing I would ask for is more 50 amp full hookup sites. Overall very pleased and will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality!
Could not have beenore pleased with everything, including the staff and fellow campers. Very sweet
We started going to this place back around 2006 such a great place with their own private section of the river a lot quieter than the other ones.
Best showers around
HAD TO USE 4 WHEEL DRIVE TO GET IN / OUT OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARK WITH OUR RV! You are in the Foothills of the mountain.
The campground was nice and well kept and Quiet.
The staff was very friendly. Leave a message and they will get back to you. Wish the store was open a bit later than 5pm.
The pool was nice, clean and refreshing especially after a hot day sight seeing.
We had one of the full hook-up sites. Most of the week we felt like we had the park to ourselves, most of the camp must be long term stays.
We did not canoe while there, so I can't say about that.
We selected this location because it was kind of close to Amish country and had a pool.

Perfect camping spot! Steep hill to get down to the RV spots but right on the Mohican River and lots of trees! Events scheduled for family fun, when we went they had an ice cream social - playground, swimming, hiking and much more! Great family camping location
We our stay at camp toodik and cannot wait to return! This is definitely a must stay place if you love camping. The sites are all decent size and they are pet friendly.
We got cabins 6 & 7 plus site 101 and couldn't have asked for better camping accommodations. It was shaded with some areas of sun for suits to dry out. The description of the larger cabin is confusing so I posted the picture. The loft has a double bed and a mat. The back room has 3 sets of bunk beds. The first room has 2 futons (doubles) with a single bunk above it. Minimal storage except under the beds because the whole cabin is beds! No water in the cabins, but the bath house was very close with a huge sink with HOT water for dishes. Very clean & quiet campground. Trees may have muffled the sound.
We had an issue and maintenance was there in less than an hour and replaced a window air conditioner that went out. Very friendly staff!
Tons of shade, and a great pool for kids and adults. Only down side is it's difficult to get to the river from RV park. The river is right next to the primitive camping section though.
