TownePlace Suites by Marriott Findlay

Dated Marriott location that has done its best to remodel and remain a viable property. The breakfast offering was on par with newer locations and brands; along with the staff, this was the highlight of the stay. Smiles and willingness to help came from the night staff and the morning breakfast team members. Disappointed with the shower but was relieved that the handle was loose enough to wiggle over the safety temperature limit stop which allowed me to take a shower that was hot and not just mildly lukewarm.

Proximity to Tiffin University was our primary reason for staying here. Would be nice to see a Marriott location in Tiffin. We would stay here again based on value and location.

Very enjoyable stay, staff makes sure that everything is nice and clean for you daily. Really enjoyed myself here.

This hotel is just ok its like 6 miles off the exit that's the main thing I didn't like and the hotel just was OK not as nice as it looked in the pitures

Whitney & Brendan were LIFESAVERS! I stayed here in March 2023, and when I was leaving - I found that my car battery was dead. They both helped me for 30+ minutes jump my car. They didn't hesitate to pull their cars up, connect the jumper cables, and help me until my car started again. They were both so kind and went above and beyond to assist me! I am so grateful to both of them!

The room was ok, but as other guests have mentioned there's a smell all throughout the hallways and in the room.

The worst was the terrible attitude of the woman at the front desk. We had booked online and indicated that we had a cat so we were charged the pet fee and paid the full amount (incl.taxes) online. When we checked-in, we were first told we had to pay another pet fee on top of what we paid. After explaining we already paid it online, she then said we still owe the tax on the fee. After she couldn't really explain why there's some additional tax that wasn't already included in the online payment, she became very sarcastic and told us that if we really wanted our $10 back then she'll refund us. After she processed the refund she told again, very sarcastically, that she had a wonderful time helping us out with our issue. This woman has no business being in the hospitality industry, much less any customer-facing position.

This hotel did have some pretty nice features however the hallways smelled, the fold-out couch in the smaller room was different

The room is nice, and feels like an apartment. One of our TVs didn’t work and the internet is slow. Major downside of the hotel is the staff. For instance, was bringing up food for my husband for breakfast, and the attendant made side comments which made me feel really uncomfortable. The front desk ladies I encountered also acted like I was an inconvenience.

The hotel was clean only reason for three stars. The shower area smelled like musty rags, water stains on the ceiling broken down cars in the parking lot I stay at a lot of hotels. Added this one to my do not stay at List.

Manager on duty was rude. Never told us about wifi.breakfast etc. Dog policy for ESA not explained until arrival then refused to allow our dog to stay under those guidelines. Not sure why she ASSUMED we would leave our dog in the car.so she made it her business to rudely say she would call the Sheriff on us if we consider doing this. Totally out of line! She would not cancel our reservation so that we could take our dog and our business and go elsewhere.she insisted we either stay or lose our money. It was only 5pm. I don't mind following policies.but she was a supervisor and she was not helpful or friendly. There is so much more.hippa violations etc.so we stayed 4 hours rested and left. The room was nice. Staff was not!

First stay anywhere since the pandemic hit. Different, but ok. No exercise room (too difficult to disinfect with a limited staff). No daily maid service. And this location has no king size beds at all. Still it wasn't bad given the circumstances.
My biggest complaints are about the shower and hot water. The water never got really hot at the sink or in the shower. Then.the tub had a drain problem - it eventually drains, but probably needs a good snaking or industrial strength Drano. In the grand scheme of things, neither of these are deal killers, but they are annoyances.

Woke up early so my boyfriend can take a nice Nice hot shower and guess what NO HOT WATER!

Very clean very well kept rooms! Bed slept well, my only complaint is the lack of water pressure in the shower. Unless you had it on super hot water pressure didn't exist. Would stay again but would inquire about water pressure.

First room, bed wasnt made. No TP, and bag of soiled linens in tub.
Second room. ONE TOWEL. NO WASHCLOTHS. Smelled so badly I had to go buy candles and spray.

Understandably, Buffet Breakfast was cancelled. However nothing was offered in its place.no to go bags.nothing.
Front desk lady reeked like cigarettes.and the smell lingered in the lobby.

The bed.was amazing.

Very accommodating studio type apartment room. Getting there is worth the not so easy route off of I-75 but not that bad.

In a good location not far from downtown or other points of interest. Pet friendly although I was not traveling with one. The room was clean and quiet for a restful sleep.
