Trapped Toledo reviews
13 INTENSE FUN! Friendly and Professional staff.
An awesome place to take the challenge.
Thank you Trapped Escape room Toledo staff for a beautiful experience.
Lots of fun with puzzles that are well thought out without being super difficult. The actors do a really good job keeping you on track if you get stuck, and keep the story entertaining throughout the escape.
The experience at trapped Toledo was uniquely one of a kind everything you expect and then a little more can't wait to go back and try another room we made it out in 50 minutes so if you're looking for something different and a little outside the box go to trapped Toledo where the fun starts trying to get out of the box LOL
This is a nice escape room. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into the escape room and bought some guns which could be used in the escape room. If you gave this escape room a shout out on Instagram, you get an extra gun for free. I did that because I like getting free stuff. I walked into the escape room and was locked inside for an hour, because that’s how long the experience lasts. I was in a large group, so it was me and two employees in their in addition to the group I was in. The plot of the escape room is that someone turned into a zombie and you have to figure out why it happened to escape. There’s an employee attached to a chain who is a zombie, and if they tag you, you have to sit out. You can use the guns you have to shoot the zombie, but it has nerf bullets instead of regular bullets. There’s also another employee in the room who provides clues. My group couldn’t figure everything out in the escape room and we didn’t get all of the clues, so we failed. Once the hour time limit was up, we left the escape room, satisfied with our experience. I gave this escape room five stars because I had fun here.
Our group had a fun time. Good thing we had one of the staff members in our room (they pose as characters of the story) otherwise we would have never been able to discover some of the clues because a few of the props didn't work correctly. That was a bit frustrating.
Had a great time with the family, camping themed room is good for children but probably no younger than 10! Fun also for adults, you can't really go wrong. The acting is very cute at least for the camping escape room, and the puzzles are challenging and fun. We got very close to solving the puzzle with a party of four adults and one teenager. The zombie one can be heard from the next room, it sounds pretty scary. Make sure you know where to look for the entrance!
My group of friends came to do a room here and we had a BLAST! The staff was super knowledgeable and enjoyed what they were doing. My wife and I had gone to an escape room before and enjoyed ourselves, but this place uses live actors instead of videos and it was so immersive. We did the mutated room (zombie cabin) and at times felt like there was an ACTUAL zombie in the room and not just an actor. The "doctor" or person who gave hints and helped keep the immersion was also very funny and helpful, but not enough to hold our hands throughout. We will definitely be coming back!
Would recommend doing a different escape room experience. Have done at least 30 plus in many different states and this was one of our worst experiences. The actor we had was very rude and tried to be sarcastic, but mainly was a huge distraction to our experience and any chance of us solving the puzzles. The Actor was saying and doing things opposite of what the gentlemen that checked us in and read us the rules said. The actor was even rude to teenagers we had with us who were actually doing a good job trying to keep the zombie distracted. The actor also ridiculed us for attempting or trying different things to figure out clues. Overall bad experience!
We loved our time! It was a blast. The actor/actress were on point and didnt break character at all!
The actor was sarcastic and snarky, continually got in the way of us trying to solve puzzles. This would've been much better if they had followed the traditional format of being able to ask hints when you were stuck. The story was disconnected from the puzzles we were solving and it seemed like there was no rhyme or reason to each puzzle. It has promise but they need to rework their basic premise.
Good first time experience. Great for groups and families. A good idea for date night as well. There is a minimum of two people per group. The actors are great. Fairly priced. A good variety of trapped themes.
So much fun! The staff is amazing! This was our first time doing this and we were surprised at how immersive it is:) cannot wait to go again!
Great place to be! Super friendly and inviting staff made you feel welcome instantly. Definitely would recommend.
