I came to this practice when I first moved to Ohio and received excellent care from Dr Wood. I went back for an eye exam with Dr Ip since Dr Wood had retired. The exam was good and thorough and I was happy. Dr Ip referred me to Bloomberg eye center for cataract surgery. The surgery went very badly. It was very painful and the lens in my left eye is not properly placed causing significant vision issues in low lighting conditions. I went to Dr Ip for a follow up visit regarding eye pressure post op. After listening to the description of my vision issues, she told me I would just get used to it over time. I tried to clarify the severity of the issues and she simply told me she trusted the surgeon who did the surgery and made me feel disregarded. I won't be going back here again.

Dr. Ip and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I have a condition needing an opthomologist and Dr. Ip made calls to set an appointment and called me early the next day with 2 options. All of the staff went over and above my expectations. I definitely recommend this eye care center.

We went there and the lady was like “DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT? ! ” We said yes my daughter does. We also told her that we forgot a mask and she says WELL you NEED a mask. And we are like WE KNOW THAT CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A MASK? And the reception lady was so rude. Anyways, a lady comes around the corner and gives me a mask. The doctor calls me in and we get my eyes checked and all that. I go into another room and a teen girl is just like showing me how to put the contacts in and so I tried. She was absolutely NO help and she just stared at me every time I asked for help. When we went to pay, the lady got the numbers mixed up and she was arguing with us about the price when we even got a call telling us the price. So she called the lady who called us and sure enough, we were right. She doesn’t even apologize and just acts like nothing happened. My father called and told them about the price too. When my father called my mother telling her about it, the lady who “helped” me put the contacts in and the receptionist were passing notes about us and whispering about us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU EANT GOOD NICE PEOPLE TO HELP YOU. The doctor is really helpful and nice though. ALSO SHE ASKED IF WE FILLED OUT PAPERWORK ONLINE WHEN THERE NOTHING TO FILL OUT ONLINE! SO WE HAD TO FILL OUT A WHOLE TWO LONG SHEETS.

I’m only giving one star because of the simple fact I’ve only been to this place one time and I well never go back again. I scheduled a eye appointment for both my boyfriend and I. Long story short we experienced unprofessionalism from the front desk lady by the name of ilene (however you spell it). She asked a simple question asked us if we had filled paperwork out online we stated no that we have never been told so. After telling her no she gave a unprofessional rude gesture. I expieranced it then 30 minutes later did the same exact same thing to my boyfriend. I did my exam the rest of the staff was very friendly but my boyfriend walked out due to the rude unprofessional manner ilene have give to him.
