12 A beautiful new bakery that has a whole tray of vegan options (daily, beginning this week). Very creative and layered flavors and textures, both savory and sweet. I’m never disappointed.
Space is small, but in fair weather outside seating is available in a couple areas around the building.
The coffee and a few other drink options round out the offerings. I leave happy each time I visit.
I had the morning bun & a chider and it was AMAZING! Staff and even customers were all so pleasant and kind. Very happy atmosphere:) Will definitely be coming back
Super excited to have a bakery in the Clifton neighborhood. I tried five different pastries and they were all SO GOOD. It is a meatless bakery which opens up more choices for vegetarians. They also have vegan options. A must try!
Food is great and so is the coffee! Friendly staff. This place gets busy early in the morning due to their limited hours.
I like a good bakery. I love this one because it's nearby in Gaslight Clifton and great for sweet & savory bites (plus coffee).
My favorite pastries so far: Triple Chocolate Brioche, Orange Palmier, Blackberry Bostock. Also, the Dreamsicle drink (espresso and flavored Sanpellegrino) is quite refreshing.
Brand new (June 2023) with nice seating inside and also outside around the back. It's popular, so the earlier the better for the best selection.
Everything was outstanding especially the fougasse and chocolate sourdough scone. Great mix of savory and sweet pastries available. Highly recommend.
By the owners of Brown Bear Bakery, Two Seven Two has some bomb and unique pastries. They have something for everyone, both savory and sweet, and offer some loaves of bread as well. We can't get enough!
Must go place for pastries in Cincinnati. They recently opened and have lots of unique pastries and croissants. I think they have revolving menu that you can check each week on their instagram.
I tried a few of their items like
Dreamsicle (iced coffee drink) with espresso, orange or lemon pellegrino, house vanilla (very refreshing)
Masala milk tea (lovely cinnamon flavor)
Croissant with sweet corn cream, blackberry, and honeycomb (my favorite please get this)
Croissant with Za'atar, whipped feta, lemon, and thyme (if you love feta cheese and savory croissants, this is the perfect one)
Cherry, Almond, and Oat Bostock (it was really good, too)
Just be prepared to wait in line to enter, and it's not always easy to get hold of seating because it's very popular in the mornings.
I LOVE coffee and LOVE pastries. I've tried countless cute spots around town. The folks here are not only tremendously wonderful humans but they make the most fun and delicious coffee and pastries.
Double chocolate croissant was to die for good.
The dreamsicle is espresso with orange soda. I was hesitant at the combo but have absolutely found my new favorite summertime coffee drink! For local coffee lovers: they use deeper roots beans.
Happy eatings!
272 coffee/bakery Coffee, Tea, Chai, Turmeric Latte. Pastries, some of them quite fancy.
A tad pricey, but worth it, at least at my current level of solvency. Kimberly and Ricky were pleasant and helpful.
As always, these folks are simply the best. Kind and good at what they do. Worth the wait for always-spectacular classic croissants, first cappuccino ever prepared in a mug “for here” (I think! Either way, delicious as always with Deeper Roots coffee) and to pick up a few other rotating items to try. The summer tomato with pesto croissant was particularly delectable! Love that the design too with the large glass wall (with a hidden door) so that we can all see and appreciate the hard work put in. Thanks y’all for continuing to do what you do best at another location!
I'm so glad to have this new bakery in the neighborhood. All the pastries that I tried were delicious. Coffee is good, too. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well. Sisito pepper croissant is worth trying.
