U-Haul Trailer Hitch Super Center at Morse Road reviews
6 For starters I would give this place a ZERO if it were an option.
#1. The staff of ladies that were working on 8/10/21 around 6pm were NOT friendly at all. They were basically rude and 1 in particular seemed disgusted with the tone she spoke in.
#2. The 5x10 storage unit I rented that has the nerve to be almost $100 a month is DISGUSTING. As you can see there is MOLD everywhere. Spider webs and dirt all over the floor. Theres a hole at the top and the ceiling in nothing but uncovered insulation and they fix it up with TAPE! The unit leaks water as you can see there are water stains on the floor.
The ONLY reason I still used it is because it was last minute and had no time to find another but with the free month they gave me for renting a truck I will be sure to use it to find me a BETTER storage unit elsewhere. For the prices that they charge for things I'm SURE they have the money for a decent ceiling that doesn't leak and a broom for the floor and to fix whatever else is wrong with them.
Oh wait. They gift you a free lock with the unit! YIPPEE! That takes my mind right off the ratchetness of the unit.
DONT GO THERE.
Easy in easy out honest and kind employees return was a breeze and price was right
Needed a hitch installed. Scheduled the job >2 weeks in advance. When I got there they said they hadn't received the parts and somebody was supposed to have called me the day before (they didn't). Now I'm in a real pinch. Asked how long it would take to get the parts and they said they didn't know.
A friend warned me not to use UHaul for hitch installs. I should have listened.
Have rented from here multiple times, however this latest experience is the last time I will give them any of my business. Online reservations do not allow people to request proper length of time someone needs to rent something. Then when I'm honest about when I would be returning the item I'm simply told that I cannot rent it, and wasted 15 minutes of my time claiming she checked other locations for a longer rental. Obviously she didn't try very hard because after leaving the store I was able to do what I needed at the 5th Ave store. Obviously I can't rely upon the website to make reservations for an auto-transport, nor can I trust the customer service at this location. The convenience of renting a trailer the few times a year I need one seemed to make more sense then buying one, but I think I'll just buy one since I can't rely on U-haul to operate effectively.
Have rented several times here to get moved this month. Also had a hitch put on my Subaru here Friday. They are always fast and courteous.
If I could give no stars I would. Nothing was explained properly. Walked out of that store believing I was paid up at $70.86, returned the truck and was told the extra mileage was $9.34. Card declined due to an issue I had with my bank (my mistake) called the store to resolve the issue and got directed to the customer service line. Was told a message would be sent to the store to charge the card again. Nothing came through so I tried to call the store and once again got directed to the customer service line. Was told a second time that a message was being sent to charge the card again. Never came through, waited two days and still no charge. Called the store was told I was fine and that my contract was paid in full. Received an email saying that my account was past due and to make a payment. Called the store ONCE AGAIN and was told that my contract was PAID IN FULL and not to worry. Kept getting notifications that U-Haul was trying to charge me and called to figure out what was going on. No on knew why I was being charged. Got a charge today for $39.94 and now I am being told that my entire rental was $120! How? ! Contacted customer through Facebook and I am being told that I still owed $78. Again HOW? ! Rep mentioned a promissory note that was never explained to me! Talked to someone through the actual customer service line and was told there was no promissory note and that my balance was only $9.34. How is that one person sees exactly what I am talking about but the other is saying “No you still owe us $78”? I will definitely be going in to speak with a manager and request a refund for the $39.94 because that should have never been charged especially when I tried MULTIPLE TIMES to correct the issue with the initial charge the same day I brought the truck back.
