UH Kent Health Center Urgent Care

Charged me almost 500 dollars to remove a piece of glass from my foot, and I have insurance too. Went to the urgent care side because I usually pay only around 100 for urgent care visits. I look at my EOB and they are billing for emergency services. I recommend going elsewhere as they try to inflate and give patients surprise bills.

I actually love the system they have set up at urgent care. If you have a cell phone they send registration to your phone and text when it’s your turn to keep the number of people in the waiting room down. The restroom and lobby are available if necessary (bus riders or drop offs) and they can do registration inside if you do not have a device. Everyone is kind as well as efficient and professional. And of course your results post in the MyChart account so you have access right away!

I was in and out, there was a wait but they were extremely fast and provided good service in a reasonable amount of time. Loved the receptionist the the Kent, OH location, it was packed but he managed everyone and everything so well.

Came in with SX of covid. Bless their hearts.there was a line. They looked exhausted. I got in, got out, very clean and friendly. The man who took me back was AMAZING. He made me laugh and he cared about me and my family and was so optimistic. The front lady who is always there always does a great job. I appreciate them so much.

Lady at front desk was rude but the nurse and doctor I had were extremely quick and super nice. Made sure I was comfortable and explained to me everything they were doing, answered my questions clearly, nicely, and made sure I understood perfectly. Wish I remembered their names.

My personal doctor hasn't gotten back to me in a week. I went to Devon Place Urgent care and was taken care of in less than an hour. Thank you Laura Ridgley!

My kiddo had an injury and I’m so thankful for everyone at UH Urgent Care in Kent … they were absolutely fantastic! Very caring and informative.

Local, great facility but I don't like the fact there is no check in privacy; everyone can hear why you are there, your name, date of birth and phone number.

That said, all in all I am happy with the staff and facility.

The wait wasn't bad, but the NP wasn't listening to my concerns, she was rushing me along, and I felt my issues were being disregarded.

Excellent experience. Professional and helpful staff. Efficient. At certain times the wait will be in excess of two hours, but hey also have times where it's less. Thank you

Everyone today was fabulous. After 3 visits to the other hospital not to be named, they finally figured out at this urgent care what was wrong. Thank you to ever staff member from the front desk to the nurse practitioner for being amazing!

The people that work here are so amazing! They were incredibly busy but the staff was still so nice and very patient. My daughter was scared to get a strep culture done and the nurse was just great with her. Thank you again!
