They do not accept digital insurance cards, there was no instruction to bring the plastic id on the day of the check up, i use my isnurance app to acces the id’s required, yhe fron office lady was so inconsiderate, I had to take a leave and schedule a check up but was not allowed without the physical id. The front office employees are rude esp, the lady who assisted me. I selected a doctor based on my research and recommendation and she was suggesting another one I have not reviewed or done research on. I went to UHC Parma and never encountered any issues, will not recommend this branch UHC Portage family Clinic, better find another UHC branch. They are the first Health Clinic that I encountered not accepting digital ID’s.

Would not recommend. First of all they charged my credit card 3 times for my co-pay claiming their machine was down and just kept charging away at my card. I called the office to have 2 of the charges removed and they didn’t resolve them just gave me a number to billing for all of University Hospitals which was closed, no apology was given. Will never go back and certainly won’t send my family here for care.

Got called into work early and completely forgot about my appointment, received a dismissal notice in the mail the next day and a certified letter the day after that, I have to go to work, I did not want to miss my appt and I haven’t missed one in two years. I am upset and confused (I and my husband will go elsewhere) I don’t need this in our lives

One of the worst Doctors and staff i have ever had the trouble of running across, it is so unfortunate that this supposed Family doctor is so money greedy and grubby, a simple case of pink eye and to get a prescription will cost $300, gone are the days where you could trust doctors for caring for your wellbeing over their pockets, this is most definitely the doctor and staff that does not give one fig about their patients and more about what insurance they carry and how they plan on paying, Doctors used to be respected, its so very unfortunate this is how society is going now.beware of Chelsie and Wendy, im not sure if they get paid on appoointments set or what but its disgusting

If i could give a no star that woud be appropriate. So i came to a point where as a nurse i am so frustrated with what our s11ociety deems as acceptable. I schedule an urgent appointment for my daug0lwhter who has an urgent (not emergent) medical need. During scheduling availability was 815 am or 915 i chose 915am d/t new patient the office staff asked we arrive a few minutes early for paperwork which i did. We arrived at 906am there were 3 people in front of us signing in we signed in at 911am. The office staff then stated we were late. Then not the women helping me but another walked up then went to the back and came back up with an immediate irritation about her whole demeanor, " you have the ability to reschedule ", i was confused by her statement and asked again which she continued to repeat that statement. I again advised her our appointment time was not 9 but 915. They didn't listen or even attempt to resolve the issue. So my daughter is now left without being seen and missed school without an excuse

Then i tried to reach the office manager by phone whom i believed to be the lady that was irritated and had an attitude. She was rude beyond compare with no compassion or empathy for the situation that was caused by their office staff.

One more thing when i asked about the conversation being recorded she stated" that's between the providers and UH, that has nothing to do with you". WOW

I see Dr. Lane. Don’t have a problem with her, but am OVER the rude staff. Had someone argue with me about getting a new prescription for my inhaler because I haven’t gotten a refill recently. I have had asthma all my life and we are in a pandemic if I need a new inhaler I’m NOT coming in for an appointment. Thankfully Dr Lane agreed with me and filled it. Called on my break today not realizing they were stilL at lunch and literally had someone SCREAM at me. Idk why they think it’s okay to talk to people this way.never have this problem at the front desk when I go in it’s always when I call or leave a voicemail to be called. Looking into other drs around me now cause I’m over trying to deal with them.

Mixed bag of interactions here. Lately they have been untimely in handling request. We have had to prod constantly to get something done. Something simple as a prescription refill approval. This is disappointing.

Dr. Lane is great, but I am really upset with my most recent experience with this facility.

I have asthma. There is currently a global pandemic because of a respiratory virus with no known cure or vaccine. I asked if they would be willing to refill my inhaler prescription, and because I hadn’t been seen recently, they would not. If I wanted a refill, I needed to schedule a visit and come in person. A doctor’s office, where sick people have been coming and going, is the LAST place someone with asthma (a respiratory condition) would want to be during covid-19 (a respiratory virus).

My eyelid is currently sealing shut because of a sealed tear duct, so I called them first thing at 8: 30 when they opened. I was turned away because of an appointment I missed over 10 years ago.

I can’t believe the rudeness and sheer audacity
My eyelid has nearly closed my eye shut, and so naturally I’m freaking out. They responded to my panic by telling me I wasn’t allowed to be a patient.

My medicaid card specifically has a Rosemont doctors name on it. I have to go there to get insurance coverage.

To say the least I’m raging upset.
