Horrible customer service. The first lady I reached was very disrespectful and snotty. Horrible wait times. Poor communication overall. They make things very difficult for people trying to resolve financial issues. They do not care about people at all.

This place verified my personal information with my mother even after my mother told them they were speaking to the wrong person. I called them to figure out why they would be contacting my mother and spoke with the rudest agent Brianna Leary. I asked for something in writing cause they are contacting me about something from 2017 that I have NO recollection of! Agent wanted to email it I declined and asked it to be mailed to me. She insisted I was lying about having knowledge of this debt and just wanted to prolong the process. Giving my personal information to someone that told you they were not me is illegal! You all should be ashamed!

I would leave Zero stars if possible. The representatives are rude, they tell you something and backtrack 5 min later, and they really don't want to deal with anything other than collecting the money. There was a mistake made with Beaumont, and Sasha could not have less to help detangle the mess. I am surprised Beaumont uses such bad service. I called Beaumont and complained.

These people are a trip. They called me and then put me on hold when I answered the phone. Then, they claimed to be attempting to collect a debt but wouldn't tell me anything unless I confirmed all of my personal info to them over the phone and when I refused, they got extremely disrespectful, threatening me with harassment and then hung up on me. Aside from terrible customer service, I can't imagine how you could get anything accomplished treating people this way. I still dont know what I'm "supposed" to owe.

2. The Toledo branch of United Collection Bureau on Southwyck Boulevard has black mold inside the building. Employees have reported experiencing wheezing, coughing, headaches and have even been hospitalized for pneumonia resulting from weakened immune systems.

Besides standard pay for most new employees is $13.00/hourly, the payment schedules implemented by United Collection Bureau are designed for the sole purpose of furthering the company’s objectives. Employees can expect to wait as long as 2 ½ weeks before they receive a paycheck due to the payment schedule implemented by this company.

4. For those of you who may have children and family members you need to keep in contact with, you may want to think twice before you apply for a job at United Collection Bureau. Contrary to the family friendly workplace that this company loves to depict themselves as, they are very much the opposite. UCB, Inc.implements a zero-tolerance policy of cell phone usage for any reason in their facilities. Regular employees have been known to be fired instantly for violating this policy when they have been caught.

5. The final reason you may not want to work for United Collections Bureau, Inc.would be the infringement on employee’s right to privacy while in their employment. This includes everything from cameras recording your every move, phone calls being recorded during work hours to managers asking, “What were you doing in the bathroom”? And I’m not kidding!

I got a text from their number about collecting a debt. They called my burner phone that I never give out to anyone and is not registered in my name so obviously it was not a legitimate call.

. She pretended to not hear us. My guess.its a scam! No way would I give them any personal info.and the girl was very rude and sounded high.

Seriously ZEROOOO stars… this entire company has absolutely no tact, and is sooo rude. They feel like such a scam company. They wont send any confirmation information, sooo incredibly nasty to anyone. I paid a third of my bill and they still gave me so much attitude because it wasnt in full

The first bill we got had no website to pay. We will not pay over the phone, we will not mail a paper check. The last time we gave someone a paper check, the routing number and account number were lifted and someone attempted to clean out my husband's bank account.

This last bill we got finally had a payment website on it. We entered all the information and attempted to pay with Amex which they refused, even though the website says they take all major credit cards. I mean, how badly do you want the money? American Express tracks these type of payments, which is the reason why I assume your %^&*! Organization doesn't want to deal with them.

We then re-entered all the credit card information, only to find out after you hit the pay button that they CHARGE A CONVENIENCE FEE for using a credit card. They don't tell you that beforehand, though honestly I would never give an organization like this my ACH information.

Taking advantage of people is not a good way to make revenue.

Won’t stop calling. When I finally answered and asked who was calling the lady was extremely disrespectful. Demanding me to prove who I was? Like umm.you called me? Seriously someone needs to sue the lights out of this place.

How is the state of Indiana partnered with you? Oh wait. Because you’re just as dysfunctional as our government.
Trying to pay online? EVERY OTHER LINK/BUTTON on their website works. EVERY SINGLE ONE. But “make a payment” never works.
I got a letter about a debt that was forwarded to them today (Saturday) so went online to pay it, no luck, called the # on the letter and unless you have a check you have to pay online because they’re closed. Hands down the worst collection agency of the few I’ve had to deal with. Granted, this won’t make its way to them, they’ll get a notification in a corporate Office that a new review was left but won’t bat an eye. My advice to anyone who has a debt that was transferred to them, call and fight to pay it/make arrangements to pay it with the initial place. It’ll be difficult but still easier than dealing with these fine folks.

Took my SSA benefits out of my bank account for someone's else's debt and would not give it back. I now will have to file a tort and involve The SSA because of their mistake. I never received any notice of garnishment. Was on hold for an hour. The lady I talked to refused to give me the number of their legal department. Very unprofessional.

Called the number on the letter and couldn't hear the lady on the other end. She was extremely muffled.and would get belligerent when I mentioned I was having trouble hearing her. She did not like my request for proof of debt and when I offered to settle for an amount smaller to get it off of their books she took the mic back away from her face so that I could barely understand her again and became nasty with what I could hear.
