United States Postal Service reviews
11 I wish I didn't need to leave this review, but someone working at this location (not sure whose fault this is) has now incorrectly marked at least 2 of my packages as going to Ohio Wesleyan and as a result return to sender, I was able to get one package by going in person and sorting it out with the help of the staff there (who were excellent at their jobs and very thorough, thanks to them for their great service) but the other was returned to sender with not indiciation given to me until the business contacted me to let me know. I'm sympathetic to the challenges faced by the post office right now but this is simply inexcusable, out of the 4 packages I was having mailed through this location only 1 arrived correctly, 2 were marked wrong, and another is about a week late at the moment, so it's clear to me I simply will not be able to rely on this location in its current form which is a shame, since this wasn't an issue for me here in the past.
Edit: Update the last package was indeed market wrong as well unsuprisingly, I can only hope that they don't mistakenly send it back to sender before I can come sort it out in person. Genuinely don't understand how there is an employee there able to make the same mistake this many times without learning from it
I know it is popular to get get negative on the post offices. I am going to take a different perspective. I have been dealing with this post office for 20 years and have never had a problem from mail issues to packages to passports. I have always experienced competent and friendly service.
It's no wonder the post office loses billions of dollars every year and continues to cost tax payers. I think they screen the tellers to make sure they are at a certain level of rudeness prior to hiring. And on top of that they can't track a package. Insanity for a shipping company. They need to close down the branches and let amazon deliver the mail.
The ladies at the front desk are completely rude and speak to you as if you are a toddler. Also, their hours make things very difficult for those who work during the week.
Does everyone that works at the post office hate their lives? I've obviously, like many others, have had to make a trip to the post office on more than one occasion. Every time I go in ALL THE EMPLOYEES are extremely short tempered, impatient, condescending and just plain out rude. Lady at front desk wouldn't even let me finish my sentence before she was like "nope, that's not how we look it up (by name) " "nope, it wouldn't be here till 6 then".
And I thought the USPS was supposed to be one of the best jobs to have. Obviously not. They're hating life
My package was out for delivery but they didn’t deliver it and took it back to USPS. I tried to call and figure out what the problem is and I couldn’t get a representative on the phone. This post office is ran terribly.
Absolute worst customer service every single time I come in here. Waited in line for 30 minutes for Rekissa to finally call me up today and I needed to buy a label to put on my package and take 15 seconds to write the address on. Rekissa could not wait the 15 seconds after I waited 30 minutes on her and wanted me to purchase the label then go write the addresses on then get back in the long line of people still standing there waiting. Will not ship with usps again.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I’m not happy with the service here. I called in order to get some help on a package I haven’t received for unknown reasons. However, when I try to call during their available hours I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone. I’ve been calling shortly after they opened at 9am and I’ve called back within 10-15 minute increments assuming they were busy. It’s been an hour since this location has been open and still not a single person has picked up the phone or called me back. I will hopefully get help sometime today.
Edit: I got a hold of someone after 1 hour and 40 minutes just for them to tell me it’s a problem with my address. Although it is all CORRECT, they apparently don’t have enough information to give me my package. I spent so much money and eagerly awaited for my item for it to immediately be returned to the sender. With zero explanation as to why they can’t deliver it to me. What more information do you need aside from my correct address and zip code? !
Don't ever expect to get your packages on time. Also don't get excited when they arrive here to be delivered. They will send them to another state first and make you wait 4 or 5 more days cause they don't know what they are doing.
What is going on with Oakhurst neighborhood mail delivery? For many weeks many of us do not receive any mail during as many as 1-2 days pert week. Not even junk mail. Twice outgoing letters have been picked up. But not even papers subscribed to are left in boxes. What is happening?
