Unity 1 Home Health Care, Portsmouth OH

This place is garbage. I wouldn't trust them to take care of my dog. The home health care aide's never show up, they will literally leave your family member without aid for a week or two weeks at a time! You will never have a regular schedule, it's like "Well, when we get someone there your one of the lucky ones! " They try to use the excuse "Have a back up plan, a family member to come help you". Well the whole point of their service is to provide the care someone needs, because some ppl don't have family to help them. And if you have a family member to help when they can, they won't pay your family member for the gas to travel back and forth or go grocery shopping for you. Because that's what the insurance pays them for.
So to all who read this please remember that if you choose Unity 1 on Market St in Portsmouth expect the worst and hope for the best. And to beat it all, their own employees are giving them 5 star ratings. I thought it was the client or relative of a client that gave them the rate of quality care? I've done some research and taken screenshots of all the employees that gave themselves a 5 star rating, 6 or 7, I lost count. They are stacking the deck! It's just wrong and crooked. I wonder if they drug test the employees also? And I reported it to Google about the employees giving themselves 5 star ratings.

Reliable company. Nice staff. Great opportunity for safe travel for elderly or disabled people, great drivers

I personally just started at Unity1Ireally like the staff and the care that they try to give to all the families but when you are short on staff it’s hard on everyone but we need to stand together every nursing home and home care are is pretty much the same if you need help for your family give us a call join our team we wouldn’t have 1behind our logo for nothing I’m very satisfied with Unity 1 give us a call we’re here to help ….
