I had a consultation with Sam Link yesterday. He was very knowledgeable and gave me and my fiancé an amazing presentation! I recommend this company they have the best windows with the newest safety and efficiency features. Sam even gave us a great discount! Will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.
Had new replacement windows installed everythig was great windows installed today. Really like them and the contractors were really good and professional. 1 monthe ahead of schedule. Timing perfect
Disappointed in the lack of follow through. Our install was several weeks ago. We communicated our issues/concerns with someone over the phone, day of, because there wasn’t anyone on site that we could appropriately communicate with. There has been zero communication since. We planned on getting additional work done but will go elsewhere for that project.
I ordered windows June 3,2023. They arrived to install on August 1,2023. One of my windows was cracked - which they broke more during installation. They put clear tape up to cover the shards. Another window was to be obscured rain glass for my bathroom. They installed a regular glass window because "that was all they had on the truck". I've gone back and forth with them and demanded reimbursement in some form. One project manager told me the lifetime warranty was sufficient. Yesterday, October 19th was the day I was supposed to get my windows fixed. The installer met me at my door and asked if anyone had called me from the company. It was a no on my end, which is likely because they once again did not have the rain glass window to install. This guy did fix the broken window, at least. I reached out to Universal Windows today. I received more empty apologies and promises of rush orders, like before. But, as it has been stated multiple times before, they cannot give me an exact date on when the window would be delivered. I would think twice before using this company. Maybe if you are someone who can promote their business, like influencers I've seen on social media, then I would say they will bend over backwards for you. Us normal people, yea right!
I love the windows, and the installer went strait to work, very courteous, and just an all out quick and speedy Esperance. I have a few more windows to do yet, and i will for sure call them to do the next job.
Sam Link was on time an answer all questions. He was kind in explaining everything to us. I will tell all my friends about Universal Windows.
Sam Link came out tonight to sell me some windows. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the windows, took his time explaining how everything worked. I enjoyed meeting with him and am looking forward to doing business with them. He is a great representative for your company.
BEWARE OF USING UNIVERSAL WINDOWS DIRECT!
They do an amazing job marketing and closing the deal but when it comes to the follow through on the project it was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I will save you all the details, but know that whatever time they quote you for getting your windows installed, add about 6 months, if not more, onto that date. Also know that the "we get your windows installed in one day" is very inaccurate. They were at my house 4 times, because of many mistakes that they made on their end. My sales guy left me in the dark because he up and quit/ got fired (probably a blessing in disguise for him) and I did not get a new sales associate reassigned to me. It wasn't until I texted my sales guy asking for an update that I found out that he was no longer with the company. They ordered the wrong size windows, 2 of the windows were the wrong color, two of the large encasement windows had to be reinstalled, I could go on and on. They offered me $1,000 off my project and told me that is the most they have ever done, even though my sister had numerous issues with them on her project and received $5,000 off. This all delayed our kitchen project that I am not being penalized for because of missing our install timeframe, but Universal feels as though this is not their fault at all. What a joke! The only one that was kind was the ops manager and I wish I could pull him to come work for a new company because he deserves better. The sales manager never even called me back after I left multiple voicemails. DO NOT USE THEM! There are plenty of other companies out there that you will pay the same amount but at least have decent customer service. That's all for now! You have been warned!
Customer service was slightly above average. They had to cancel installation but did not inform us after I called and 45 minutes after our appointment window.
I am so pleased with the product. I had 6 windows installed today and the crew of 4 were fantastic. They were organized took their time, and let me tell you I had some old nasty original windows in my home. I am impressed. They even took the time to clean up inside and outside. They even gave me an tutorial on how my windows operated. It takes a lot to impress me, but I am very pleased with the installation team. My salesperson was a doll also. I am pleasantly surprised!
The crew showed up on time, was friendly, quick working, and did a good job installing my new windows. They corrected several issues that were present from when my previous windows filled in and made sure I was left with a quality product.
I had half my windows done last year every thing was good. I had the rest of them done this year. I requested the same installer because he did a good job.they sent someone else for the the last install. They seem to only care about putting in the windows.the outside wrap isnt done well at all.i have a couple of pieces of the vinyl around the windows broken and the caulking job both inside and out was poor.
