University Hospitals (UH) Ashtabula Urgent Care reviews
18I came with a partially cut off finger and I waited for a hour and a half while bleeding through my gauze and the doctor gave me glue stitches and told me to keep it clean and dry and I asked if I could work and she said ya and I asked how long it will take to heal and she told me to schedule a follow up so I went to work and scheduled a follow up and at work it was easily vulnerable and when I went to the follow up they said she shouldn’t of glued it so they took the glue off and wrapped it in gauze and sent me on my way with no plan of recovery or any details at all just “ make a follow up” this is rediculous
My 75 yr old mother called today 11/11/20 @8: 00AM to schedule a appointment, before she could say anything the VERY RUD DISRESPECTFUL OPERATOR FROM THE ANSWERING SERVICE HUNG UP ON HER.
You see my mother forgot to tern back one of her clocks for daylight savings so I get it was her mistake but nobody should be treated like that especially a paying patient. So with this all said I will be finding a new doctor because of this
NASTY CALL CENTER WOMAN.
So doctors now you know why and how your going to start loosing your patient.
With Hipaa in mind, I didn't appreciate having to verify all my PHI info by yelling it thru the glass pane. Including my SSN! With people in the waiting room AND people in line behind me! Can't you come up with a better system? My bad too, I could have easily stolen the identity of the guy behind me. This did not happen a month ago when I was here.
Everyone was so friendly and kind to my son and myself. From the front desk to the nurse and then the NP we were treated respectfully and they eased my son's nerves. We also felt safe with everyone wearing masks.
Friendly but not helpful. They dont have any equipment to do any kinda tests other then taking x rays. Basically told me to go to the er because they cant do anything after paying the 75 dollar copay. The issues I have require a ct scan and blood work and they should have known that.
Check in took no time at all. I was in and out with answers I needed. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful.
This facility is efficient and the staff is friendly. In and out in less than an hour with necessary antibiotics.
They got me in and out quickly and courteously. Very efficient and knowledgeable, took care of the reason I went in to see them.
Wonderful Care and very efficient. We booked online and were seen straight away. The PA was incredibly sympathetic and very knowledgeable. The front staff was friendly and got us seen and checked in quickly. We came during flu season so the clinic was obviously very busy but the staff continued to have positive attitudes and smiles. Definitely recommend them
Went on 6/8 for an unknown allergic reaction and was seen by Kelly Gardner. By far one of the best experiences I’ve had at an Urgent Care, and with a medical professional. She was extremely attentive, friendly, and easy to talk to. I understand that good care in Ashtabula is hit or miss but this was not my experience. I’d recommend her to anyone, she went above and beyond taking care of me.
Went with symptoms of flu. They quickly confirmed it was the flu and also found sinus infection and prescribed medication to help. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Worst place I've ever seen! Verbally abusive staff, very very very unclean, I'd rather taking my chances with my dog working on me!
Excellent, quick service, excellent customer service! I have already recommended this facility to friends and family!
Presented with nornal o2, tachycardic, chest tightness and respiratory distress. They turned me away staying they could not treat me before they saw me. Im a medical provider visting from out of state and these people cannot handle a simple nebulizer treatment and write a perscription for steroids. How they qualify as urgent care is baffling.
PA Ken Mazer made BOTH my experiences at this particular Urgent Care frustrating, stressful, and anxious. Both times I was sent to the ER without my children even being looked at. And made to feel "stupid" for even being there. I will he driving one hour away before every returning there.
I had such a awesome experience today.check in receptionist was friendly.and awesome. The nurse was caring and friendly.the doctor was awsome.understanding with my sickness.will always return to UH.urgent care.
DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE A SERIOUS INJURY! ! I TOOK MY GIRLFRIEND THERE WITH A BROKEN ANKLE. I CALLED FIRST AND ASKED IF THEY CAN TREAT A BROKEN ANKLE. THEY SAID YES COME ON IN. THEY DID NOTHING BUT XRAY AND ASK FOR 800$ FOR A ORTHOPEDIC CONSULT. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL US HOW BAD THE BRAKE WAS.
TOLD US TO GO TO ER. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM DO NOT GO!
My wife has been there twice for unrelated issues. Both times they were very friendly, but not very helpful at all. It was like we lit a $35 co-pay on fire and tossed it out the window. Recently, for what we thought would be fairly routine, she was basically told to just go to the ER because they don't have the equipment to test that here. Both times we felt as though they just wanted to get her out of there and kind of made her feel ridiculous for even coming in. Not recommended.
