Dr. Richard Lee was very compassionate as to my cancer results. He made me feel less afraid. He explained everything to me in detail. I am so thankful for Dr. Ammori sent me to him. Kudos Dr. Lee.

First visit was amazing especially for news that received about gastric cancer and how they plan on attacking it. The staff made me feel comfortable and understanding was easy.

Nurses are great. MDs and floor doctors lack compassion and communication skills. I've met veterinarians with better bedside manners

Cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness of staff. I have had 2 very good experiences with my mother being the most recent.

Sorry, not impressed at all. We are months into my wife's treatment and they just took her into surgery. Unfortunately, we have heard three different plans on how they are going to approach this surgery. We have also been told one thing and the very next visit they tell us something completely different about the scans and tests they have done.
Now I'm sitting in their "surgical waiting area" and it's nothing more that an old treatment room they threw a couple chairs into. No water, no bathroom, just work station computers, a few uncomfortable chairs, a full trash can and some bad smells. Thank goodness her surgery is only suppose to last a couple hours.
Definitely NOT impressed.

So Dr. Nagel is pretty cool. I’ll keep her as my oncologist. My first visit wasn’t great but the second visit was awesome! And the receptionist has always been awesome as well as the nurses. Joked with Dr. Nagel and she had a student with her (she was cool too). They always ask permission for a student to come in. I think it’s always a great idea to allow a student in. I’m pretty strong willed and voice my opinion. The students need to meet all kinds of people so it isn’t a shocker when they come across someone like me.

Grandma died here from Lung cancer and they wouldnt give us the option to have her die at home. Also wallet was stolen in the ICU family room by one of the security guards

Our family helped build the Seidman Cancer Center because of Doctors who helped save my father's life

I was admitted by a Dr. Charles to come to the UH Seidman Ctr.from Lake West Emergency, on my request for a different surgeons opinion on my scheduled emergency surgery for diverticulitis infection w/ abscess. My experience from the beginning, from the two kind gentlemen who picked me, and transferred from Lake West Hosp.to the room (I can only speak of the 5Th Floor) to nurses, the nurses aids, housekeeping, and the many doctors that come to see and check on you periodically, was truly an answer to many prayers prayed in a short amount of time. Dr. Charles was a Godsend and because of him and his direct staff I was cured WITHOUT surgery, which at that time was very risky. The room, and bathroom facility was like a hotel, (no joke). This made for an even more pleasant 4 and half day stay I had. I was taken care of very well, everyone was so kind thoughtful and some went out of their way to make me comfortable and happy! I can only say that for me and my certain medical issues I could not have asked for a better hospital and staff. I recommend this UH Seidman Cancer Ctr.to anyone. Ps. I know for those with Cancer my experience may not mean much, but I know atmosphere can bring great stress or relief when ill, scared and or in pain. The atmosphere and huge rooms and extremely large windows and views, cleanliness and staff can make a big difference. This is a guarantee at this hospital! I keep you all in my prayers as the whole staff at UH Seidman!

My father was here in the ICU. He was at the end and the amount of care he got was amazing. The nursing staff was so nice in our time if need. They helped by explaining everything to us. I was very glad they we came here.

Fantastic staff and facility. Doctors tend to double and triple book appointments, so being a book!

It's a well maintained and beautiful building. The people that work here are incredibly kind as well. It's a good experience even though the circumstances warrant a different perspective.

The staff on the 6th floor are a bunch of lazy, rude morons and they don't know what the hell they're doing. The only good nurses are Kristi and Dan.

We have had several admissions for my son. The longest was a month! We love the staff. One of the nurses offerred to go to the store for us! The doctors are too notch. No one thought my son could be saved. Dr. Siegal did the impossible with surgery. Dr. Lee is straight forward and compassionate. Our only issues were when we weren't at Seidman.
