First place I've ever been to climb. Friendly and helpful staff. Also the regulars are super nice and easy to talk to.

This place does not have a wheelchair accessible entrance that was mentioned in the about section here. They also don’t have a printer to print out release forms, so make sure you bring your own copy.

This place is an extremely unique climbing gym. Very welcoming, helpful, and chill staff. Felt like a great community in the gym as well. While the trivial things like parking and the bathrooms are not ideal (which is to be expected in such an old building that has been repurposed), the things that matter, like route setting, staff, etc, are great. Will definitely be going back.

I'm sure there were many funerals held in this church before it was a climbing gym and now it could be the resting place of your climbing career for the low one time cost of $20.

I came across quite a few sketchy holds that would creak and move, but thought nothing of it - until one completely cranked 180 degrees in my hand and threw me off the bouldering wall. Mind you this is a V2 boulder with no dyno moves and I weigh ~165 lbs. As the hold gave way there was a pop in my shoulder and I have been unable to climb or lift for months and have pain during simple daily tasks. I inspected the hold and found that the spinner screws were never actually installed by the route setters even though there were holes for them. Absolutely unacceptable.

The building is cool and I am glad that someone in the area between Columbus and Cincy is trying to serve the sport climbing community; however, a combination of careless route setters, a disappointing boulder selection, awful parking, and a weight room with posted-threats of removing any non-members from the premises - leaves A LOT to be desired from what could otherwise be an excellent place. If you only climb a few times a month, definitely just make the drive to a larger city.

We had a great time at this gym! I haven't climbed for over 7 years and we were able to schedule a belay certification and do our waivers online before hand to save time. I made a mistake and read the time wrong on our scheduled time, but the staff were super understanding and told us it was not a problem to come in later for it. We brought our 5 year old back for her first climb and she got stuck at the top and their climbers were so encouraging and helpful. Someone offered to belay me up there so I can help her down. Overall, we love that this is such an intimate gym!

Great adaptive reuse. Climbing in an old church is a unique experience. My friend and I both thought the boulder problems were accurately graded and creative. Minor issues includes lack of auto-belay, extremely old and outdated bathrooms, and having a members-only night seems unnecessary as if we were unlucky to have visited during that day, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the place. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our time here.

They offer climbing instruction and guiding for people of all levels. Perfect for people who just want to try out the sport without having to buy all the gear. Every tour has been a great learning experience and a wonderful time. The staff are super patient and knowledgeable! We always have a great time when we go!

You will have to rent shoes and harness (auto belay).

Owner was extremely rude. Needs to work on his customer service skills. I am just shocked that he would speak any customer like that.

I was in town and stopped by to get a boulder pass. Did not realize Monday night was members only night. The owner rudely grumbled that “No one reads the website”.

That is an accurate statement. It’s 2022 people google ‘climbing gym’ and look at the hours on google. People are not going to take the time to read a dissertation on an outdated website.

Rules are rules, I get it. The place had maybe 4 people in it so I was shocked when he said there was no flexibility in those rules. Being unnecessarily rude while explaining to rules has prevented my interest in ever spending a dime at this gym.
