EDIT: The original post was concerning a pet waste issue. Since the review was posted, things have gotten better. I removed the photos. It's an affordable convenient place to live, aside from that.

They keep finding ways to raise rent and they tell everyone pet charges will go up if they don't pick up poop everyone pays not the person who is leaving the poop. Just terrible got gang graffiti in my garage. They painted over it and end of story. My place was dump and we not got to see apartment until move in date. Slick

If you want to pay a 1000 a month for a run down apt, and appliances that are older then you are, then this is the place for you.go ahead check it out! They start out thinking you got a deal, and then if your one of the ones that stick the first year out, well then rent goes up over a 100 dollars every year after that, plus let's throw in a arrogant manger, yep that's right you get ripped off here, that's why people are moving.

My hot water tank was recently replaced. Maintenance personnel were very respectful and professional. I was without a furnace for a short period of time.i was well supplied with electric heaters to stay warm. The electric heaters worked great. I have no complaints. I compliment the maintenance team for a job well done! Thank you for everything.

The maintenance team did a great job in replacing the light fixture at the entrance of our building, I am now no longer worried for my mother if she comes to visit that she will trip on the entry step. The maintenance team here is great and since they hired a new maintenance supervisor a couple of months ago, he sees everything through! Kudos to all of the staff for making this happen and for such excellent service!

A peaceful, pleasant place to live. Has a pool, exercise room, dog park, covered parking, and much more. Located near Spring Meadows.

They don’t take care of their residents at all. We have had our main door broken for a week now from maintenance taking out appliances, multiple calls have been made, multiple maintenance has been here and nothing has yet to be done about it. Also they delete reviews! (:

I Have been without AC for two weeks. Have had zero communication with maintenance and leasing office. I have reached out to them to get updates myself when the air conditioning was going out. I called and they sent a person out. They said they would fix it. It was still not fixed I called again, and apparently I needed to turn off the central air unit which (no one told me to turn it off) then I did and then I called the next day and it is still not working. I also have a hole in my wall that maintenance said they were going to fix three weeks ago and have yet to be fixed. Maintenance did offer a portable AC unit after begging for some sort of accommodation, but that does not cool down the entire apartment as this is a second story apartment and has vaulted Ceilings. I had to spend $500 for a portable AC unit to cool down my apartment. Management was supposed to reach out today 7/3 according to Scott from the leasing office, and I have not heard anything. Again A/C has been out since 6/18. I am willing to revise this review upon speaking with manager.

I've lived here for almost a year. The grounds are well maintained, the neighbors are quiet and the staff is helpful and prompt. I really enjoy living here.

Out $200 because they told me I could add a cosigner if needed and they flat out denied me. Thank you for lying to me and scamming me out of $200. Serious integrity issue.

I adore valley Stream! Darren and Jerry and their team have went above and beyond with any and all maintenance work and they leave me speechless every-time! Everything they is absolutely perfect and I’m over the moon with the way they’ve kicked things up here.

Management has been so understanding and such a dream to work with! I’m planning on renewing my lease again because it’s been so pleasant!

Have been living here for 3 years, wanted to give a shout-out to Darren, Mark, and the maintenance team of Valley Stream for installing a new refrigerator. As soon as I let them know my old one was broken, within a week I had a new one. They were friendly, professional, and nice to my child! 5 star service!

I called and it was fixed the same day and he did a great job he's very likable I wouldn't want to live here without the maintenance as good as they are

Love my new home! Staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Neighbors are quiet and kind. Couldn't have picked a better place!

Darren, the maintenance technician, was wonderful and did a great job communicating and respecting the space.

Valley Stream Apartments has developed a terrific app for residents to use. Earlier today, I digitally paid my monthly rent. Then, a couple of hours later I noticed the carpeting in my bedroom’s closet was wet. Using the Monarch App, I created a maintenance work order to have this leak solved. Later this afternoon, Maintenance supervisor Darren came to my apartment, identified himself, and asked to come in to review the wet carpet. Within a few minutes he diagnosed the problem, called another Maintenance employee Morgan, and together they promptly repaired the leaking water valve. This stopped the leaking! Both Darren and Morgan were very courteous, friendly, and professional in their efforts here! Darren assured me that if there were any additional problems with water, to please contact him again.

Today’s experience with Maintenance staff is in keeping with my previous contacts with Monarch front-office personnel and staff when I moved in 6 months ago: very helpful, friendly, and professional!

It’s a pleasure to be a resident here and to feel like your concerns are heard! I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a quiet, safe, beautiful, and well-run complex! And, their rental rates are most reasonable, too!

First year was good but unfortunately kinda declined over the following years. But these last couple years it's improved under new management. Maintenance being the biggest improvement of all. Other improvements still need to be done such as updating cabinets, countertops, and linoleum flooring. Curbside appeal improvements would go a long way making the complex more appealing to new residents.

I reported a light outside and it was fixed the same day. This is the second property repair fixed next day in the last month or so.
