Terrible management.allow cars to back up without delineating lanes and thus people 'cut'. We waited over 45 minutes and someone cut into the lane! We left.

Good for oil change in a pinch.horrible for anything else. Received a quote for a battery then came back and it was twice as much. After waiting for 45 minutes in line. Talked to assistant manager outside in uniform however he wasn't the assistant manager I found out once I entered by the female employee. Keep records and honor repeat customers/quotes. Wasted my time.never going back. 11/16 5: 30pm

I arrived at 4: 45pm on a Sunday to get an oil change. The website says they are open until 5pm on Sunday. With quick service I would be done by closing time. They turned away my business and said they stop taking cars at 445pm so they have time to clean up for the day. Was pretty disappointed

I was hesitant on returning to the Mentor location due to previous management, but I’m glad I gave Valvoline another shot! I spoke with Emily during my visit, she was very knowledgeable and informative, and even remembered me and my dog from my last visit back in April. It is such a relief to see a gal in this industry who knows what she’s talking about! I was given reassurance on what was up to date on my vehicle, and then what was due with absolutely no pressure to purchase extra services! I did get my cabin air filter replaced, and will be returning shortly for the transmission and radiator service! The new manager, Cesar, was extremely friendly and seems to be fitting in well! I would love to see more people like these two on the team, superb customer service, well done!

Got an oil change today and they were so quick and efficient. Ari helped us and she was so kind and even said hi and gave my little ones a lollipop! It made their day. Thanks so much

I went to have an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that I did not need a tire rotation and that it is not necessary on a 4 wheel drive. I don't think that is correct as it says to do it according to the Jeep website. I was told that according to the manufacture, I need a front and back differential fluid replacement at 20,000 miles and my Grand Cherokee was at 26,000. I never heard of this before and it was expensive. So I had it done and they offered a discount. After looking into it, my car did not need one. The manufacture said that it should be done between 30,000 and 60,000 miles especially if off road or if it has been in deep water. Mine has done neither one of those. Not happy about being swindled. I will not go back there. I was wondering why the wait time was so long. I have never seen it this bad before. I have a feeling that they are doing this to everone (upselling). The reason for 2 stars is that I'm sure pressure is put on the staff to do this by the company.

I’ve been going here for years, I typically have really good experiences at this location, and even my last oil change was fine. However the only issue is that at my last oil change in April, my car was mistakenly listed as having 124k miles, so the next suggested change was at 127k miles. My car was at 120k, and has just hit 125 (it’s pretty old) so I’m actually paste due and didn’t realized until a few days ago. My car is fine since I caught it in time so no harm no foul. I also should have noticed as soon as they gave me the new sticker, so it is partly on me for not realizing The service is always good here, though. Everyone is always nice!

Dan from this location valvoline (gauges in ears) should be ASHAMED of himself and the way he talks to customers, particularly the older generation. My father went to this location today and had such a bad experience because of Dan. He was rude, impatient and quietly frankly should not be working with the public. How he is holding a job there is amazing to me, he should be fired. I will never return to this location and will tell everyone I know not to as well. I truly hope you don’t have a father/grandparent and talk to them the way you talked to my dad. Truly embarrassing.

Staff is professional, not pushy, informative as to maintenance and incredibly personable. Love this place for all my oil changed especially when I find a good coupon for 50% off

Honestly it's a hit or miss. Some times you get great service and everything is topped off and filled with great customer serivce. Other times they don't even both to fill the air in your tires and barely speak to you.

The service is always professional and they aren't "pushy"with the add-ons, they just make suggestions. My only gripe, and has nothing to do with this location, after each oil change I receive a 10% or 20% coupon sometimes in my email. This coupon would save me 15 to 20 bucks off my purchase, but it always expires 2-3 months before I need it. While I can always find $7 dollar coupon, I don't understand sending out coupons to repeat customers that they likely won't be able to use.

Awesome staff & services! Got an oil change, air filter replacement, 3 wiper blades replaced, radiator fluid replacement, entire fuel system cleaned & an automatic transmission fluid replacement. My car feels amazing on the road now. Thanks to this locations staff and attention to detail. Totally worth every penny! Thanks again!

I came in 30 minutes before they closed, since I knew it would be late I called ahead to make sure they would be able to change the bulbs for my headlights. Terressa was an absolute joy to speak with over the phone, very polite and engaged with me. Upon arriving for the service, I was able to get into the bay quickly, the technicians were very positive and upbeat even at the late time at night, got my bulbs changes super fast and did everything with a smile! Genuinely some of the best service I have gotten from any company in a long time!
