VCA Sawmill Animal Hospital, Columbus OH

We had been really unhappy with the previous Veterinarian office we were going to, and a co-worker referred us to VCA Sawmill. I seriously love this place SO MUCH! They are so kind and are always bring us in right on time for our scheduled appointments. Highly recommend!

I was actually pleased about my first visit there for my puppy a few days ago. The doctor was very friendly and nice. But I was extremely disappointed and mad today. I was called by a lady from the hospital that I could directly came to the front desk to pick up the medication for my puppy. But when I went in and asked a lady with long and blonde hair who wears a pair of glasses at the front desk, she just rudely asked me to get out. This is not how a good hospital should train their staff. When I tried to call in and ask about it, the woman on the phone just repeatly asked some dumb questions and hung up my call badly. You really need to train your staff on how to be nice to your customers. I am not really sure if I still want to go there anymore because of this horrible experience.

Used this vet couple years ago took 2 my dogs in to be seen, staff was friendly, but that's about it, we discussed options for my pits allergies, they had brought up about giving him a 100 dollar shot for his allergies, I explained to them I wasn't sure about the shot in meanwhile I wanted to stick with the allergy pills, I then asked them if possible to do their nails while there she said sure took my dog in the back and gave him the 100 dollar shot that I clearly stated I did not want! Then tried billing me for that along with a full script of meds for my dog when they only gave me two pills until the following day when I was supposed to brought my dog in for ear surgery, and then also had trouble with them honoring the free office visit coupon that they advertise I will never again take my dogs there or recommend them my daughter also has had a lot problems with them with her dogs here recently later to be in their review!

Brought my dog Griffin who hurt his ankle, wonderful experience and professional staff who truly cares about your pet and their wellness. Dr. Beckett found a client for life and will receive many referrals from me.

The veterinarian portion of the business is amazing, the review is for grooming. I understand dogs/puppies don’t always cooperate with groomings, but when the dog come out with half of one ear done, nothing done to face and chin, or the other ear you’d assume the business since they failed to provide the full service wouldn’t charge full price of 92 which is already higher than other places. Which is probably why they don’t provide the price until after the service unlike others that show online.

We had several complications from my dog’s spay from a different veterinarian office which required surgery, and VCA was amazing at helping us through it; Dr Reiscamp was such a good communicator updating me frequently, and an amazingly skilled veterinarian. We take all of our pets there and I know they are in great hands. They are very fair with prices while also giving the highest quality of care.

Plenty of staff to ensure no long wait. Will work with you to make sure all care available can be done for your pet, and won't break the bank.

First time coming here and it's amazing! I'm impressed with how clean it is and how nice and caring everyone is. I had to get my long haired cat sedated to groom him and they took the best care of him! Will definitely be coming here again and highly recommend!

Dr. Bryce was so nice & very knowledgeable. I appreciated her spending time & answering all my questions. I've seen Dr. Waters in the past as well. She is equally good.

Dr. Tod Beckett and his staff do an awesome job caring for the dogs that come in to see them. We have worked with Dr. Beckett on multiple occasions as he works with our rescue, Speak for the Unspoken, and he has done multiple surgeries that not many vets are able to perform and has had phenomenal outcomes. He is very caring, empathetic, and very knowledgeable. I trust Dr. Beckett with many extreme cases and am thankful he works so graciously with rescues.

My dog Max & I went to VCA due to an unpleasant situation. He tore a ligament in his leg. Max had surgery about 2.5 weeks ago and I've loved working with VCA. Dr Beckett and his rehab specialist, along with everyone we've encountered have been great. Max seems to be on a solid road to recovery and we couldn't be happier.

Dr. Brys is our vet.she is awesome. The cost of the service is a little shaking but they are quick to get you scheduled. Quick to figure out the issue and are always available via phone for a follow up. I appreciated what she did for my dog (he is elderly and has glaucoma) and the ways she treated me as a dog parent.

I will not take my loving dog any where else! Their stuff are very friendly.top doctors.grooming is awesome as well.

I love all of the doctors and staff at VCA. They always make you feel like they truly care and are invested in the care of your pet. My only gripe is the high costs of prescription medications. They mark up the meds A LOT. Aside from that, I prefer VCA over all the other veterinary clinics in the area.

I Been Going Here For While Me And My Dog Bering Dog In Seen Like Very Fuctional Place With The Help Of Trying To Make Some Things Better Would Be Not Changing How They Do Things Every time We Come I Get Response Oh We Don’t Do That Anymore Or Cooperate Changed The Policy Or We Have To Confirm Woth Doctor Discrection Just Find Vet That Consistant And If Things Do Vhange We Are Aware That Keeps The Animals First

Super friendly staff very helpful they focus on helping the animal and the owner more than they do about making money basically I'm saying that they act like they genuinely care

We (including our cat Scarlet) love Dr. Watters. She is great with cats. She delivered Scarlet via C-section and has been her vet ever since.

Have nothing but wonderful things to say about the folks here! Everyone staffed is absolutely incredible at what they do and so kind. Our pup has had two ACL surgeries here and each time they’ve gone over every last detail to make sure it’s as painless and straightforward as possible during a tough time (including payment plans if needed!) Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new vet!

They did a check up on my kitten without telling me it will be extra cost. I was there for vaccines. Charged me 45-50$ extra for a check up when I didn't even ask for it.
