Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital, Wadsworth OH

I drive 40 minutes to go to the Vets at Vetco Wadsworth. EVERYONE is SO nice! The prices are about the same as my previous Vet (who is located 1 mile from my house).
Working with cheerful and pleasant people is worth the journey.

Petco and the vet doctors are so nice! Very informative and very helpful! Keep up the good work. I'm so Glad I chose to take my kittens to Petco and to see the vet doctor! Thank you for great service!

Elizabeth is SO helpful and kind! She gave me so much advice and was so knowledgeable about everything I asked her. She was so willing to help and I can tell she loves her job.
Dr. Clark is the best! He is very very thorough and very knowledgeable about his practice. He will explain everything and anything you ask him to how you will understand it.

Very long wait for appointment, completed exam in separate room, triggering anxiety aggression in my pet causing him to be muzzled

Was able to get an appointment very quickly and the staff was incredible. Hannah did my intake and she was super knowledgeable and supportive!

Had an appointment at 10 and was turned away by front desk. I booked with you guys because I heard nothing but great things. Your front desk is RUDE. I did not cancel. Glad I took off work for an appointment I had scheduled for a month. I am a brand new patient and I will be taking my dog elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. If you didn’t have time for us not sure why I didn’t get a call?

Took my cat here because my normal vet couldn't get us in soon enough and my cat was straining to urinate. Paid over $300 and don't even know if any of the tests were done since exams aren't done infront of the owner. I was told that basically nothing was wrong and he was a little dehydrated so the vet wanted to give fluids under the skin I was fine with that. Normally fluids under the skin you can see the fluid bubble, when I took him out of the carrier he had no bubble and he wasn't wet like it had leaked out (because sometimes that can happen) a few days after the visit he is now peeing blood. I called them back and the receptionist just said "take him to the hospital" I just paid hundreds of dollars and was told nothing was wrong when something clearly is.

I took my dog here to be looked at for a small concern I had. I didn’t like how he was taken out of the room with out my permission for the vet to look at him. He’s a nervous dog at the vet and normally I have to hold him. Due to his nervousness, the vet wasn’t able to get a good look at him. She gave me a list of things that could be wrong with him and I had him looked at my vet the next day and they said he was fine. I paid $63 for the vet to not be able to get a great look at my dog. It was a frustrating experience for both my dog and I.

My dog Link loves Dr. Clark! They always take such great care of him and always give pricing up front which we appreciate! Such a great team.

If I had to rate this place it would be 0 but the lowest option I can choose is 1. First off when you call there you can't call the vet directly its a service line its horrible and no one speaks clear English and they ask you 57 irrelevant questions. I took my dog there to get his therapy dog paperwork filled out. 1 form $58. I left but just the experience with the fees and calls is awful. Be aware!

They're not upfront about prices at all. Like they will not tell you service charged until AFTER the service.

Elizabeth the receptionist was SO friendly and took care of all of my needs in a timely fashion.

We needed to see a vet semi urgently but not enough for the ER. All the staff were fantastic towards myself, my husband and our dog. Very professional. I am so glad this service exists.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. We brought our dog here because he had an upset stomach & refusing to eat. We paid over $600 for our services. Dr. Clark informed us the X-ray results were unremarkable and there was no blockage. He recommended seeing an emergency vet for gallstones. I didn’t feel right about that. I took my dog in for a second opinion the next day to which the other vet FELT the blockage and looked at the same X-rays Vetco took and saw the blockage on the X-ray. I brought my dog to the emergency vet who also looked at Vetco’s X-rays and saw the blockage to which he had to have emergency surgery to remove the object. My dogs life was disregarded and this is not a simple mistake a vet should be making. Especially after spending $600 on testing for him to “not see” anything and other vets see it right away on the same X-ray. We will not be back to this office and we will NOT recommend anyone to visit either.
