Viaduct Park reviews
20Not what I expected as I stumbled upon it. This place has an energy to it. Fairly populated, easy to walk, fun to explore.
I liked to see it, but it was a rough walk down to see it. It.was.interesting to see, just didn't like the path down.
Beautiful & rich in history! Between the sound of the water rushing downstream and the natural landscape, you won't be able to decide what's more stunning!
The scenery was beautiful. Such an awesome little gem amongst all the urban surroundings. Definitely a place you could explore for a few hours.
Parking lot is so small. Drove over an hour to take the kids out. No where to park near by. Total waste of time.
Tucked away in the middle of every where this beautiful place is most definitely something to see! My wife and I we here today 9/03/23 for about an hour and a half! Just the history alone is amazing and then you add the beautiful river just to discover these 4 amazing waterfalls! Almost all the trails are paved and some down close to the river are not but an easy hike for everyone!
Nice place in the middle of the town. A little down hill, up hill walking to and from the water fall. If you're oldie like me, take your time, but it's do able all paved path. (except by waterfall)
This place is gorgeous- small and very walkable. There is a paved path and stairs throughout to help you get to the falls
Beautiful nature trails and waterfall. A must see whenever visiting Beford Ohio. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes to walk off the beaten path.
Wonderful little hiking trail. There is a paved circuit that is wheelchair accessible, and many little paths branching off of varying difficulty. I went with a group of 3 adults and 4 small children; with some rambling, it took us about 40 minutes to complete the circuit. The kids really enjoyed it, and they especially liked seeing the waterfall.
The trail at this location does not cross Tinkers Creek and does not connect to any other trail in the rest of the park area. It is a closed circuit.
There are a few signs around the trail explaining the history of the site, so it is educational as well.
There is a port-a-potty outhouse in the corner of the parking lot.
Getting in was a little confusing, as it requires you to drive over a sidewalk that isn't paved to be part of the road, but there are signs so we didn't have any trouble.
Was in Solon, was told Tinker Falls was a worthy & scenic view.
Plus a spirited hike.
Yes a double Secret location.
Lovely.
Another absolutely gorgeous link in the Emerald Necklace! Never even knew this location existed & I've lived in Cleveland since 1995. This is an adjunct section of the Bedford Reservation. Serene shady paths, lovely rushing of water over rocks intermixed with peaceful pools. Wading is allowed & saw folks taking full advantage. Enough hills, offshoot trails & steps to be moderately challenging or wide paved for more accessibility. Benches, convenient stones offer spots for a breather.
Bedford Viaduct is a beautiful park in Bedford, Ohio that offers stunning views of the Great Falls of Tinkers Creek. The park has several viewing standpoints, including a paved path that leads to the base of the falls. There are also a few hiking trails in the park, but they are not too strenuous and are a great way to spend a couple of hours exploring the natural beauty of the area.
Love love LOVE this place! The views and the history of this place! A must see! And the waterfall is gorgeous
A place where you want to return again and again. Either for cycling, walking, walking the dog, meeting friends or taking photos.
Boundless beauty and tranquility that charge you for a long time.
Beautiful waterfall that you can walk up to. I love it here and it's not a bad walk to get to it.
Very beautiful place to visit! Saw all sorts of critters in the water; crayfish, minnows, tadpoles, etc. The waterfall was beautiful, the hiking experience was great, and I would definitely come again. Definitely would recommend some bug spray though!
Awesome Waterfall Water Wave it Was On a Mill And Train Track Sites Still Here In Bedford Ohio, I Can See Minnow fish From The Waters Edges You Can Collect All The River Shells You Can Woth The Snails and Stay From Real Area.
Great place to go for a quick walk and see the water falls. I would have given a five star rating but I wish there weñre longer trails to walk and for some it's a little hard to walk down to the water area. It would be easier if they had better railings on the walk down. But, w that being said, we still love to go there. I take my daughter and on hot days we take our shoes and socks off and walk in the shallow part of the water. She likes to collect rocks and the small sea shells there.
Beautiful! Didn't walk too far in, just here for a quick walk. Beautiful views of the water, plenty of places to just sit and relax.
