Vic Art Masonry, Columbus OH

I hired Vic Art Masonry to repair the exterior chimney and water damage to the interior stone front of my fireplace. The interior repair required wirebrush removal of the loose stone and mortar and repointing the joints. Vic Art undoubtedly cleaned the stone (although some is still crumbling here and there). However, when they "finished, " none of the repointing was even, with deep gouges between some stones as if the mortar had been removed but not repointed. Vic Art refused to fix it. As you can see in the photos, even the rebar (from where mortar had crumbled off) is still visible. Vic Art definitely wasn't the least expensive for what I feel was a half-done job. You decide.
