The one place you can go and sit at a table with someone else while they're eating their breakfast and sit right next to them. Literally strike up a conversation and have breakfast together. Yes you can sit at your own table but for two of you a restaurant is packed and there's two spots opened up at an eight top be sure you're going to get sad at that eight top and you'll get to meet "Jerry" and his whole family lol.

Although the food was good, it wasn't worth the hour wait. They weren't that busy and after waiting 45 minutes with my daughter and three hungry grandkids, I asked a woman when we would get our food. She said they had pick up orders they were taking care of and ours would be out soon (15 minutes later). We were told they were out of bacon, which my grandsons wanted with their pancakes (they were disappointed) and my daughter wanted with her eggs They offered ham or sausage and my daughter said she wanted ham but neither one for the boys. The plates came out WITH bacon. We asked for 3 slices of bacon for each grandson and one got 3 and the other got 2. We asked the waitress about it and she said she wrote down 2 for him but would get him another piece of bacon. He never did get it! My daughter gave him one of hers (she got 3). We asked twice for catsup for my granddaughter's chicken tenders before the waitress got it for her, which the bottle was on our table but taken off and given to another table. We asked for a kids chicken tenders and that's all she got - NO French fries! She couldn't finish both pieces (she's only 2) and my daughter asked for a box. Once again, we waited for a while. I got up and found the two waitresses and another woman (I think she is the owner whom I originally spoke to about the delay) standing around talking. When I asked again about the box, "the owner" said, "Oh, sorry. We were talking about shoes. " REALLY? So, if you have time to waste and aren't very hungry when you walk in, this is the restaurant for you. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING! I will NEVER go back!

Less popular than it should be.

It's a country restaurant from times past.
Sitting in the building gives me nostalgia of model-T's pulling up for a road-side meal.

It also shares the restaurant with a Sunday morning service on Sunday mornings.

Don't expect new corporate tables/booths or pizazz, just good food and homey atmosphere.
The place is run with a mental atmosphere just like you're in the 1930's. Bare minimum everything except the food.

That food is created by a talented kitchen and it's what your looking for if your tired of homogenized fast food.
It is definitely prepared as if you're own Grandmother prepared it before sending you off to school.
Don't be surprised if you get your plate faster than the fast-food bag. It happens on occasion.
It's that good and takes you back to a time when you didn't do the cooking.

Got a chessboard?
Bring it with you.
The staff is not in hurry to fill your table with someone else.
You're welcome to play a round or two.

The place has curios and antiques on display that gives it it's atmosphere.

I'm a "new" customer. I go there when I'm in their neck-of-the-old hi-way.
Some folks have been going there when dirt was invented.

"You won't get any nouveau-riche, citified fancy-food - it's hot, brown, and there's plenty of it! " is a great way to describe what is coming your way in that wooden floor eatery.

It is the perfect place to come to on Sunday after Noon. The staff is really nice to treat you as if you are more than a nuisance that comes with their paycheck.

Yummy food, friendly excellent service and family atmosphere. Part church, part restaurant. Gives you the feeling of being at Grandma's house! I had the breakfast of eggs, toast, home fries and bacon. My husband had a chicken tender sandwich and fries. It was all really good! With 2 drinks, it was only $16. Stop by and try it!

Such an odd atmosphere. Food is extremely slow to come out. Good price, but not many options.
