Village Church Columbus

The Village Church has truly blessed our socks off and we thank God everyday for this church, its pastors and its people. God’s people have a yearning for truth and you will certainly find that here! It is clear that The Village Church believes that the Bible is the only authority in life and death. The Gospel is preached, taught, and proclaimed every Sunday. If reformed theology is important to you, this is your place! If belonging to a church that is confessional is important to you, this is your place! If God-centered, expository preaching is important to you, this is your place! If real, authentic worship (none of that “worshiptainment” stuff with smoke, flashing lights, and volume so loud your ears ring for days here!) is important to you, this is your place. Believers and skeptics alike are welcome here. The people of The Village Church are welcoming and genuinely hospitable and I know you’ll fit right in!

A hidden gem. Over-stimulating concert-style music is replaced with songs that fill your heart with awe and wonder of God. In the past 6 years of looking for churches in Columbus, I’ve never been at a place that has deeply helped me know my Bible and embraced sweet doctrine that has encouraged believers for ages.

Are you weary of sermons that are primarily comprised of cool sound bites? Bothered by opening your Bible for less than 50%, 25% or 5% of a sermon? Do you want to be overwhelmed by Scripture? Look no further. I am deeply blessed to have found this refuge of believers. Praise God for this church.

Huge blessing to me over the past two years. The worship and preaching both balance the gravity and joy of coming before our creator God, and the people you meet there are warm and encouraging too.

This church has become family to me over the past 8 months. Solid beliefs, strong Scriptural preaching, and a radically real community. We are for believers, young and old, and for those searching.
