Village Inn Chicken, Norton OH

We really enjoy coming here on New Year’s Day every year with family. They serve free pork sauerkraut, and even with the crowds they maintain rapid service. I’ve never had anything here that was not fresh and if you have not tried their chicken… then you have to try it! It’s delightful.

Have been going there since it opened! We now travel an hour just to get chicken there. Often take friends who look forward to chicken. Shrimp dinner is awesome as well. In fact…heading there this evening with friends. Can’t wait! Not fancy…just good food!

I really like going there but the last time I was there I found long black hair in my hot rice. I think they need hair nets on in kitchen.

Chicken and all the sides were great especially the hot rice! The other amazing thing is the price very affordable and you get a lot of food for very little price.

Very delicious food. The chicken is crispy and hot, coleslaw is tasty and the hot sauce is perfect.

They do not pay their contractors. Literally received an envelope in the mail with less than 25% payment and a note stating “we are a small business and are working hard to get established. Between employees and limited budgets this is what we can currently pay. ”

Have been trying to collect payment for nearly 2years now. We’ve completed work prior when new ownership took over and had been paid in full. This was when they opened back up under new ownership. So in the beginning things were great… but then they called us out for our services and that’s when thinks went south and I received the letter in the mail.

They called again for our services but I declined due to nonpayment. If they can’t afford to pay a remaining balance there’s no way we were heading back out again.

If you can see behind the scenes you’d understand they’re about turning a profit and not a quality product.

Place is not the same as it used to be. Slow and rude service. Restrooms disgusting.
Food orders done wrong.
Was not good food.

We were there for dinner tonight, it was the worst experience we have ever had there. We waited an hour for our dinner. Our waitress neven said one word about the delay, no apologies until we asked a different to waitress if it she could check on it. Finally came. Shorted us chicken and the fries were not done. Never came back once to check on us, no drink refills, and went and got our own to go containers! Poor, poor, poor! We paid for a service that did not happen! We won't be back.

Waited quite a bit for our server (she was very friendly) and for food/drinks. They had a party in the other room and looks like they were hustling but they kind of ignored everything else going on. I believe there was a manager but she just spent the 2 hours we were there on her phone or sweeping under the same table. Food was good and hot.

How many times can you re-fry chicken? This was the better of the dinners.and if it was already made why did it take an hourcold & old. I need to stay home and cook.

Connie is a great waitress. Love the food. Just like original recipes. Great lunch specials 11-2.

Actually went in for a job I worked in H. S.started 15 min later worked 3 hrs n they hired me after the 1st hr

Love the piled high fresh cut fries. They are popular for their chicken but I go for fish. Always full when I leave. Busy, so expect a wait.

As with everything else, time changes a childhood favorite.and as with most businesses nowadays.it was lacking help, long delay in getting food and cold food.waitress was great, overall kitchen staff was lacking

All of our food came out hot and huge portions. The chicken was so hot it was almost too hard to eat. The service was great. The place easily seated our party of 7 at dinner time. It was a great experience!

I was so excited to come So dirty inside that when you walk into the bathroom your feet stick to the floor has been updated since 1980. Literally come on guys. To get over an hour for two meals and the girl said oh I'm sorry we had a party. The food was so bland no flavor whatsoever. Tasted like fried flour
