Nice neighborhood pizza joint. Pizza we had was knife & fork, which is fine by me. The salad dressing was great, and I love that they served a squeeze-bottle for the dressing.

What a joke. Called multiple times during business hours and was hung up on each time. 0 stars if I could.

My favorite takeout pizza, hands down. Village square salad is one of my favorite items on the menu - the salad dressing, crouton, sesame seed combo is the best in the game. The garlic knots are top notch. I love the spicy pizza with pepp and jalapeños. I’ve also used the catering for a kids birthday party - the Italian sub was a huge hit. Highly highly recommend!

This has become a regular take out spot for our family. High quality ingredients, super friendly staff, great experience every time.

I had been wanting to try the pizza here, and it was everything I had hoped for. We ordered the garlic knots (something like bread topped with Everything Bagel seasoning), the Antipasto salad, and a large Deluxe pizza. It was VERY good. I walked in and ordered it. It was ready in about 20 minutes. I took it home but I would definitely eat in next time because the place was small but clean. The staff was very nice too.

I took out a cheese pizza and a salad about 2 months ago. The pizza was good and the salad was great.
I decided to get the Friendsgiving dinner special on the day before Thanksgiving.
Service was great, however, the food wasn't. The garlic knots had no garlic and just tasted like salt. The salads, the pizzas (regular pepperoni and mushroom/onion) were very peppery. Even the fettuccine Alfredo was peppery. The salad dressing was very peppery, too. It was a lot of food, mostly wasted as everyone had their fill of the pepper. I heard that the croutons for the salad were good. Not going back.

My family and I are always looking for a good pizza place, and we definitely found one here. We dined in, the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We ordered the Parmesan wedges and the jumbo wings for appetizers. They did not disappoint. We shared the wedges while my wife and I had the wings. The wings were incredibly flavorful. We ordered Buffalo chicken pizza and a cheese pizza to the table. The sauce on the cheese pizza was very well balanced and the buffalo sauce provided just the right amount of heat. The crust was some of the best I’ve ever had. We took a pepperoni pizza home and we couldn’t leave without a famous village salad. My wife raved about the salad and the homemade croutons! I would recommend Village Square Pizzeria to everyone.

Up date - the reopenned restaurant has nice people and good sauce, but i think they're still working on their recipes. The crust we've gotten our first two times wasn't crispy or doughy, just flat and tough. Like it had no yeast and hadn't risen. I'm not sure they got the old DeGuitano's recipes (actually have heard that they got the recipe's but have chosen not to use them!). We'll give them another try, a little bit further down the road.

Previous note 3 months ago: The Pizza WAS great, but this restaurant has been CLOSED for months. In renovation. Hoping it reopens under new management but with the same original recipes.

I ate here years ago and it was just okay. I tried them again tonight as I heard there were new owners. The pizza was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and outstanding sauce on the pizza. We got it to go so I cannot speak to the atmosphere, but the food was awesome and the girl who was at the register was great. I am definitely going back.

Pizza is tomato soup on bread. 2-3x over sauced.simple ratio. 6 oz dough; 3 oz sauce or better is canned plum tomatoes; 3 oz cheese.

The eggplant parm is small, over sauced again and if there is any parmigiano on the dish I couldn’t find it.

We had pizza, eggplant and Mariana. Everything need salt; the Mariana had no cheese and, of course, over sauced.

If you want real Italian, don’t eat here. If you want over sauced, under salted dishes, this is the place.

I have a recurring order of the Buffalo chicken pizza with village salad because it is SO GOOD. It’s nice to eat pizza without that awful frozen cubed chicken on it and their cheese is better than all other carry out places - I can’t put my finger as to why, but it is. The village salad dressing makes this simple salad irresistible. I will be back again and again!

I used to order here all the time when it was under the previous management. I reluctantly tried the new management & recipes & it’s not good. I read Rob’s review & he hit it right on the head the crust is flat & tough like it has zero yeast. This place won’t be around long if they don’t improve this crust. They have big shoes to fill Degatono was Far better. The patrons trying this will try once & will not come back because it’s pricey & horrible. We don’t mind paying for great pizza but this pizza is in the Pizza Hut class not worth the time or the money. I ate two slices & i refuse to eat more it’s that bad, & I’m still hungry but this crust is hard as a brick yo. I mean crunchy like a hard taco shell. Sad part I looked at pictures online & I specified not too well done it taste as it looks. DONT EVEN TRY ITS NOT EDIBLE

This spot is back and better than ever. Great pizza and apps matched by attentive service. Excited to bring the family back again soon.

I was so excited to see the re- opening of Village Square Pizza after being a longtime customer. Delicious crispy crust, tasty sausage and perfectly seasoned bright tomatoey sauce without a ton of oregano. Took off a star for not bringing toppings out to the crust and the steep price. Odd pricing structure that a 1 item pizza is the same price as a deluxe? The pizza is definitely different and diehard DeGaetano’s fans may not approve, but I thought it was excellent.
