Volunteers of America Thrift Store– Grove City reviews
32Awesome place it gives a good discount really cheap can't think of the store manager's name right now she's very cool along with cashier Jennifer
Best option for a thrift store on this side of town. Shame people pilfer the games and DVDs. They should really keep them by the front like they used to.
The guy with the facial hair and glasses outside where you drop off donations clearly hates his job. He’s rude and you can visually see disgust on his face. I’ve been here 3 times this week and every time I was here, his terrible attitude was the same. I’ll be making the drive to Goodwill in Hilliard again, even though it’s out of my way.
Cashier didn't seem to want to work. Kept 1 hand in her pocket while using the other hand to ring up stuff slowly while yawning, coughing and wiping her mouth then touching everything. Took forever to ring out and disappointing when things on the racks are not marked then we can't purchase them after taking the time to find and try the stuff on. Should be a manager or something that can come up with a price.
Umm there was 5 thing we could not get do to no price tag but the store was clean and all but they made my mom soooo sad
There were almost no clothes on the racks, up on checkout I was next in line (a long line) and the cashier said she was going on lunch. So I ended up all the way in the back of another line. 15 mins later she comes back and opens her lane, and I got to be first. Very annoying.
I was very pleased with my visit to this store. They have very good products. The stories clean and the eyes are wide and organized very well and the people that work there were very helpful and polite.
Grove City location.took items to donate.a man opens the door.says if the don't fit give them here (the bags in the donation box). He snatches the bags, and walks away! Wow! So rude! Nice items too.not trash! Rude!
This is a wonderful location to indulge in TRUE bargain shopping, thrift style! Always many wonderful buys: One can find hidden gems in the book sections as well as among the housewares or the shoes!
Impressed by how organized this thiftstore is. They also have 3 different tag colors on sale each day with varying % off.
Prices are okay when things are on sale for the thrift store but it can get quite crowded on those days and the lines get long all throughout the day. Items for home don't look that great and the "better" clothing is overpriced for being a thrift store.
Love that they have dressing rooms. Their prices on dresses are always low. And the staff is friendly and very helpful.
Cleanest I've been in in a while. Great selection. I found some really nice outfits and only spent about 20 bucks
Nice but some high prices for a thrift store. Lady who rang us out was not friendly our responsive but very stressed out.
This place is so dirty, I feel like I have lice. They had used makeup and other cosmetics. I don't think I found one complete housewares appliance. It reminded me of that room in your house when you have all your junk that should be in the dumpster.
They have good prices for sure. Wish they'd separate by size, even if rough guess, as having back pain limits my time. Some workers are mean and obviously don't want you in their way. Others are genuinely kind and courteous. Needs a new bathroom. Can be dirty sometimes still, great bargains if you have time to shop.
This is a great thrift shop! The selection of clothes is excellent and the clothes are in great shape, some of the clothes still have the tags from the original purchase. They have home furnishings along with jewelry and fashion accessories. Please check out this store! I love to shop there.
I love looking around for a good bargain here but it seems some of the prices are a little higher than should be for a thrift store. They have awesone children's clothes and things are organized well.
This store needs to be cleaned and the prices decreased a bit. I do not like pricey thrift stores. Such a rip off. The staff wasn’t very welcoming either. They were grumpy. Oddly, I’ve been to VOAs in other Ohio cities that are super cheap. What’s going on here?
Fairly large store with abundance of closing items. Everything is well organized. The store is clean. That also take donations. The staff is friendly. There were enough cashiers, so wait to check out was less than five minutes. Discounts are available based on the colors of tags. When I was there they had 25%, 50% and 85% discounts. I had a good experience.
