Steve was very knowledgeable, had the LG dryer parts I needed in stock and he was price competitive with online merchants. I will always do business in person when possible and he made it possible. He was very busy but also very efficient which made the short wait time a non-factor.and I didn’t have to wait for shipping even as quickly as Prime.

I have used Appliance Parts Center on 161 several times. Given the model numbers for an appliance they either have the part you need or can get it. A great resource for the DIY mechanic! Highly recommend these stores here in the Columbus Ohio area.

I thought I bought the wrong part for my dryer but thanks to the gentleman running the store he fixed the part for me and now my dryer works again. Thank you very much for taking the time to help me. Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable of appliances!

They had what I needed. But 42.99 vs 8 to 15 bucks online. Way overpriced. I'll order online so I never have to go back. If you need the part now, you will pay 3x for that convenience. And he gives the excuse "Oh the prices have gone up lately on these". Uh, no they haven't.

Their website says customer service is the most important thing.well that is false advertising. We needed the parts today and called to see if they had them in stock, they did, however the guy on the phone said “we close at 5: 30, you have 21 minutes to get here”. I said okay, I am on my way now and will be there as fast as I can. I called at 525 to tell him I was just 2 minutes away, no answer. Pulled in to the parking lot, ran to the door, and it was locked, a guy smiled at me and walked in the back, I looked down at my phone and it said 5: 31. Are you kidding me? I stood outside for a minute or two because I was in shock that he wouldn’t spend an extra what, five minutes to help me? I will never shop this chain again, nor will I ever recommend it. We found the parts on amazon and they are significantly cheaper. My advice, check amazon first. Side note, their website says they close at 6.

I'm far from a handyman and I was able to get the part I needed to fix my dryer. The prices were competitive with on-line prices (cheaper if you include shipping.) Also the guy there tested all the parts I brought it to determine which one needed replacing and didn't try and sell me parts I didn't need to replace.

I've been buying parts from these guys for about 15 years. They have always been extremely helpful and patient with me. Apparently dohicky and thingamajig are not actual part names. These guys know their stuff and make me look good. Hint have your model # and serial #.

So far they've always had the parts I needed in stock (12 yr-old GE washer and dryer and a Whirlpool side-by-side fridge). The guys that work there will offer helpful advice about installing a part, or answer basic questions about installation, which has saved me time. The prices are fair, sometimes lower than online part places, sometimes higher, but no waiting or shipping charges so that's good. Overall I've had a good experience.

Customer service is out the window please check with the BBB before you deal with this company, their customer isn't their priority like the motto says and they hid things to get the sells to go the way they want them to. If you pick your machine up and you buy a warranty they are not obligated to stick to the warranty unless you do the howling.even if its just to be fixed. BUYER BEWARE

Told them the symptoms of my dryer and they used their experience to tell me what part I needed to fix it. I had my dryer back up and running less than 2 hours from the time I walked into their store. THANKS!

Took the motor from my Bosch front-loader in to pick up replacement carbon brushes, and was told that I could only get a new motor, and that he didn't think you could just buy the brushes. Bosch sells the brushes on their website, as do several other third-parties. To his defense, it was toward closing time, and I'm not sure how popular this model is, but I am a bit dubious that he was unaware that the part is available on its own at a fraction of the cost of the motor.

Helpful guys at the desk. Got my dishwasher parts in one day. Priced similar to online and faster delivery with no shipping fees.

Just now, dryer was squealin' pretty bad. Called the store like I always do and ask what's up. He said it could be rollers, idler pulley, belt, or drum bushings. He asked for my model number, then checked to make sure he had everything in stock. I told him I'd tear the dryer down and find the part, so he wrote down all my part numbers together to save time when I showed up.

It turned out to be the rollers in the back, but I went ahead and changed the belt. $70 out the door and my dryer is running great now.

This place is where I ALWAYS go first for everything. They have repaired my dryer twice, washer once, fridge once, stove three times, outdoor compressor once, dishwasher three times, and my FRIEND'S dryer once. If the person on duty there didn't know something, they would call someone who did.

They are very helpful and knowledgeable and will help you identify the issue with the appliance you are repairing before selling you the part you need to fix it.

If you live in the north end, they are close, friendly with Great People, comparable prices and will work with you to put parts on hold until you can get there. Their in my address book now!
