Waffle House reviews
16Love the staff and food. Always enjoy the conversations. It's like home. Always amazed at the friendliness and hospitality.
Have been here several times and the food has always been good. The service excellent. Don't come looking for quiet and flowers and you'll eat well! I'd rather give this place my breakfast money than anywhere else! This location is also boss!
First time at any waffle house and the prices were very good and the employees were very friendly! I really loved the atmosphere at this location and will be returning again! Thank you girls!
I LOVE the people that work here! BUT it seems they hired new people that don’t like answering the phone. So now I won’t be leaving any more tips.
Started our day early and loved the friendly fun greeting as we walked in. My first at a Waffle House and everything was great
Since Michigan doesn't have this American institution, any time I'm traveling with my family, we always eat at Waffle House.
Was so drunk for my birthday, had a great time ending at waffle house. The staff was cool about it too, "what is waffle house for? "
RJ was a great, took good care of us. On the other hand, the lady with pink hair (manager I guess?) running the place had little interest in taking care of customers and spent most of the time we were there on her cell phone. Food was good as always!
It was supposed to be brunch, but turned into lunch. Food was great. I had good things to say about the service.until it came time to serve my table. The ladies there were kind, so that's certainly a plus.
The only place open late night within miles of our hotel stay in Worthington. The guy working was holding down the entire restaurant by himself. Despite that he was smiling the entire time and very accommodating. It was POURING the rain and I got mine to go so I was waiting in my vehicle and he brought it out to me So I didn't have to get out in it again. Very good service
The truth is that waffle house has a better breakfast than any other chain in town and the staff is outstanding.
Edit: to say that this place has gone downhill since corporate took it over would be a wild under statement. The staff is manic and haphazard, the place is regularly dirty now, and I saw exactly one (of 11!) employees wearing a mask correctly. And after sitting at the counter for 30 minutes sipping on half-full room-temperature drinks, someone came over because it turns out they had lost our order and were trying to take it again. So we left. I guess I'm done with this place for now, which is very sad because it was our go-to breakfast spot for years.
Who do these clowns think they are. I havent been since the pandemic started and now the prices are 3-4x what they used to be. This is still waffle house same standards same service but the price doesnt match anymore i wont be back
Our server and cook were awesome her name was Stormy and she just made me and my girlfriend feel so welcome and she's a great cook 5 stars for you Stormy I will definitely be back
Marj the waitress is great but everything else and everyone else is terrible. I've tried going multiple times early in the morning and am turned away either out right or they say they're "only doing takeout. " I've had a cook tell me I need to leave as soon as I got done eating because they need the table, and in an extremely rude manner. I refuse to go here anymore.
They have many good breakfast options for vegetarian/pescatarian diets, pretty good but slightly weak coffee and they always get my eggs and hash browns right. You may have to ask a few times for sides you ordered but other than that, the dining experience was good.
