Waffle House, Vandalia OH

Love the food but lately they don't know what they are serving. Menu prices have changed and each store operates differently. I could not get an all star at one, Huber now charges 10% to do a takeout order and they usually screw it up. Fairborn can't make an egg correct if you want it dippy and always check the gravy because sometimes it is the consistency of milk. Check your prices as some waiters write up extra prices bit overall quality product if they complete the order correctly!

Don't eat here on the night shift. Only thing the server is missing is a mustache and cigarette hanging from her mouth as she serves you. I attempted to leave a tip my husband ended up confiscating back. Our server was rude, the cook had no hair net but a lovely bunch of locks spilling out of her hat.

Fastest, most friendliest Waffle House I have ever been to! Great team work! Effective communication, all staff remained busy and food was excellent! Kudos!

The Troy waffle house was ok. Not their fault tho. They do not have enough employees They did great considering only 3 people working!

Theresa was an absolute sweetheart, very kind to us! Great hospitality! The other two blonde haired waitress were absolutely rude, very disrespectful and unprofessional to their manager! The cook with the Australian accent took an hour to make the order and he was cursing at his coworkers! What a sashole!

I went in to eat breakfast there were quite a few customers. I ordered the waitress was fast and friendly. The food came in 10 minutes or less. The food hit the spot. Will I go back yes. I was as hungry as they were efficient.

If my husband wasn't such a Waffle House fanatic and the one by our house isn't always closed I definitely would have avoided this Waffle House. The cook had hair hanging out all over, she overcooked the hash browns, and couldn't seem to cook more than one meal at a time. And really that wasn't our problem. The server was sloppy. Very unprofessional. She acted like she was at home instead of her job. She only had one order ahead of us and that was a challenge even though I hear her tell someone that they were suppose to be take out only since they were under staffed but she has worked there 17 years she can handle it (obviously not). I've worked Waffle House and served dine ins single handed. I would five tables aside take out orders and still managed without losing face. The soda was flat. The tables were dirty. She had a rude presentation of herself. I like being at a place where people are friendly and her whole tone just said white trash, my apologies but to break it down. I normally generously tip if I see a server struggling or they do a great job and even still tip the not so good one's. She gave me her $3.00 service so I feel like that's what she earned. She definitely didn't go out of her way to make it a pleasant visit
We definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there. Not with her as their server. She must know someone higher up because she definitely isn't there for being a great employee.

There was only two people working they were rude let me give you an example the waitress said what can I get you and I said can you give me one second then I told her I was ready and she said you're going to have to wait your turn didn't make a whole lot of sense to me thought I did wait my turn very rude will never go back there again that's a shame because I love waffle House

Stopped by and had a good bit of grits and eggs with honey and it was terrific and the toast was absolutely perfectly done and enjoyable and the waitress was friendly and the counter people were having a good time working hard at the very good food, nice place will go to again I'm sure it's nice to have reliable food in a friendly atmosphere

Awesome service! It was busy but our waitress still gave great service. Food was delicious and served hot and arrived quickly. Will definitely return!

Waitress needs more training.
No hospitality at all. I was the only person in the dinner and she spent most of her time on her cell phone texting someone else.
I ordered A cheeseburger with bacon ONLY. And I still got a hand full of pickles with my sandwich.
I did get a refill on my drink, but only after my glass had sat empty for a long time and I was finished with my meal.
The food itself was very greasy.
The dining room seemed clean, but couldn't help notice the 4 or 5 fly's flying around and landing on the open container of butter that the cook uses.
I do not recommend anyone to eat here.

Worst Waffle House Experiance ever. Everyone inside was seated & the only table open was being cleaned. A couple asked if they could change seats & the waitress let them. At that point she should have apologized and then offered me the seat that was now open & cleaned it. But instead left it dirty & left me waiting not saying a word. So disrespectful!

My guy cooking the food spared no effort to keeps things clean. Stove looked immaculate, utensils and plates were spotless, and he changed his gloves Everytime I blinked. My waitress was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I loved it. So happy I drove the extra 18 minutes to eat at a Waffle House with dine in.

Look, it's Waffle House. Last time I was here, there was one poor dude trying to cook for the whole place. Your order might be wrong or it might take awhile.but if you're at Waffle House, you probably don't care.
PS - the pecan waffles were super good.

I walked in and orderd food then I noticed that there was HUNDREDS of flys… one fell off the window just now onto my table and it was like injured and I flicked it off the table as hard as I could. IT WAS CRAZY. I just told the waiter to make my food to go. They need to keep the place clean. So many flys! Loved the waiter.
