Waffle House, Columbus OH

This place reminded me of an old school, down south WH. It was busy, everyone was on point, the food was hustling off the grill, our hostess was awesome, definitely worth the visit.

If you need a Late night meal at literally ANY TIME of the day/afternoon/evening. Look absolutely no further! The Waffle House has been an absolute staple!

I visited this location around 11AM on a Sunday and our sever was a middle-age Caucasian man with a raspy voice. He was very professional and attentive. He took our order right away and so our food was out in no time. This is the service everyone should exemplify at Waffle House.

I recommend the cheesesteak melt with an over hard egg, at lettuce tomato and onion!

I ordered a sandwich and was given hash browns with it, which I don't like. I just assumed it came with hash browns until we got the bill and my meal was $3 more than expected. I had pointed at the sandwich on the menu as I ordered and the server looked at what I was pointing at. The kids' drinks were also charged at $2.50 even though the menu said $1.00. I did not make an issue of the wrong meal being incorrect, but asked for the kid drinks to be changed. The server replied that she had always charged full drink price for kids, but she changed it for us. The food was OK, the whole thing was nostalgic for me since we used to go to waffle house in college. It's been 15 years since I ate at one, but the all star meal used to be $5 and change. It now costs over $10. For a family of 4, it cost us over $40 with tip to eat here. My husband was not impressed with food or service or price and said never again. My kids liked the food and seeing the kitchen. I had stomach issues from the greasiness.

This is my favorite waffle house around Columbus. The food is always good and its always lively and fun.

Cassie and MO were very nice. We got our food very quickly. And it was the best I've had in a while.

Stopped here after flying into Columbus. Had a homey feel and very friendly service from Jinx. Food was served quickly. I had peanut butter waffles with a side of grits. The waffles melted the peanut butter chips into yummy bites. While the grits were good, they seemed to be swimming in an oily butter. Sorry no pictures. Very reasonable prices.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was informed that they were closed. The server had left early because “she was tired” and the other server wasn’t clocking in yet (she was sitting in the corner). Rather disappointing that this seems to be what a lot the workforce has come to. Can’t rate the food because I didn’t get to eat.

However I ordered a to go order after we had our meal there and they forgot to tell me when it was ready I had to ask

I'm giving myself those five stars because the guy fryin almost had them dancing around his noggin like the cartoon he lives in. Nothing worse than nothing trying to be something when there never was.and still tipped my ser er10$ for late bad and poorly cookedfood

I haven't been to a waffle house in over 2 years because of an iccendent that happened over their booths being decriminalization agents fat people and it was at night and they closed off the handicap table and wouldn't let us sit there they were being very rude and I felt that handicap table should of not been shut down that's why it's called a handicap table I feel waffle house needs to redo there booths not everyone can fit in those booths so the other day I decided to try again and they let us sit in the table no questions asked even though it was dirty and not cleaned we still sat there and cleaned it up the best we could the food was ok some was burned

Always entertaining, everyone's like at the dinner table talking to everyone, funny stuff and good grub.

We had a really good time. We stopped by on our way out of town. The food was cooked well and tasted great. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The manager, cook, and server with the pink hair interacted with us and our kids so well. We shared so many laughs with them and felt so welcomed. If it wasnt for time contrastraints we probably would have stayed all day! I hope all these employees get the recognition they deserve because they really went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone who made this experience a great one and I am sorry for not catching everyone's names.

Food was great. Server was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere got 4 stars due to being very cold in dining area.

Absolutely LOVE the crew here. They are WONDERFUL with the littles. Ashley had coloring books and the cook that we had was fantastic. Wonderful food, wonderful service. They do not disappoint!
