I have been going to this place for years, and I absolutely love everything about it. Great food, super nice people who run it.

Love this place. Only had an appetizer and a bowl of soup. It was excellent!

The restaurant was clean and cozy, the food and service were great!

The Wah Fu lo mien was dry and flavorless. Haven't been there in years and remembered it having a rich flavorful sauce and being the best I had ever had. Very disappointed.

Overall, I don't think this restaurant should have more than a 3 star rating. The cabbage roll was soggy, the General Tsao's chicken tasted like they spilled the MSG into it.way too salty. Service was fine. Restaurant was fairly clean. The dish, free tea and a small tip was $18.20.not worth it. The food falls way short of what one might expect from a standard Chinese restaurant.

Very clean place! Nice inviting hostess/waitress. Engaging owner. Crab Rangoon was the best we've had. Great portion size and tasty meals! Possibly our new favorite sit down Chinese restaurant! Give them a try!

I ordered a shrimp fried rice the first time I ate here. It was delicious! The rice was fresh and the food was hotI. The rice wasn't dark at all. I think the order taker remembers phone numbers; the second time the rice was dark. I thought well maybe someone else was the chef today. I ordered a third time. They got my order completely wrong and I went back for the corrected order. Yesterday was my last time ordering from this restaurant. The shrimp fried rice looked like something they scraped off the plates of others then served it to us for take out. The rice was dark like soy sauce had been on it. (I tend to eat it without the extra salt). The shrimp was gummy (really overcooked and curled so tight it could bounce on the ground) ; the soy beans were very shriveled.and to make things worst. I mean really bad.the whole thing was dry as a bone (how is that even possible). Not edible at all. I wouldn't suggest eating here more than once. You will enjoy it the first time.but they are particular about the customers they want to serve. On a good note, they might make you feel welcome, while they MESS over you and your money.

Sincerely,
Chasing a Ghost

Came here on a Friday night where the posted closing hours on the door and online say 10: 45pm. They were CLOSED at 9: 30! No note on the door or anything! WTH! Very disappointed!

Been driving past Wah Fu's for years, so I finally decided to stop and try it. I have mixed feelings about it. I ordered the Chicken with Broccoli dinner combination to go - there were lots of other vegetables in it which was not expected, and it was made in a white sauce which was also not expected. The listing under "combinations" didn't mention other vegetables, but I checked the detailed menu at home and the listing on a different page under Poultry Dishes did. Luckily none of them were peppers or I would have had to drive back and return it (I'm allergic to peppers). The chicken was ok, the white sauce was actually good, the broccoli was very mushy but tasted ok, the snow peas were so mushy they were unpleasant to eat so I just threw them away (and there were alot of them - more than the broccoli), the baby corn was good, and the water chestnuts were good. I liked the fried rice and the egg roll. But the dinner didn't seem to be Wok cooked like other Chinese takeout, my order came so fast and was so hot that it seems like it was microwaved (except for the rice and eggroll). I'm not sure if I will stop here again but if I do I will have to be very careful to ask about ingredients.

They charged me $22 for one meal to go. It was the worst food I’ve ever had. The noodles tasted like frying oil. Do NOT order or go here.

We ordered pork fried rice, pork lo mien, sweet & sour chicken and beef broccoli for a large group (60 people). The food was excellent. They were very generous and easy to work with. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Wah Fu was a pleasant surprise. In the Middlebury plaza, next to Bagley grill, this little gem is just that; a find.
Thanks to the very thoughtful chef/owner who accommodated me about half an hour before closing.
I got to it quickly! Ordered the freshest, most flavorful wonton soup I have ever had! Next up the Szechuan Gia Kew.
Wow! This spicy chicken stir fry was amazing. The chicken was so fresh and tender! I can actually imagine it walking about hours before! So well balanced with flavor and the appropriate balance of spice and flavor. The best thing, you can ask the chef to hold the msg.
Overall, very satisfying! I will find my way back.

I have eaten here ever since I was a kid and I come back every time I’m in town. Wah Fu has homemade food including the soup and egg rolls made themselves, always fresh, and a clean restaurant. I especially like that they are locally owned and community members. I recommend the Moo Goo Gai Pan and shrimp chips!

Best Chinese food around with the exception of the Mongolian Beef. Instead of being wok fried and sticky with sauce.it came to the table all liquid and nasty.

I moved to this area in April and have been looking for good Chinese food. We got ham fried rice, chicken chow main, egg rolls, pot stickers and crab rangoon. Everything was delicious, well prepared, and flavorful. The fried rice used to be really good, but that's changed recently. The rice is now pale and lacks salt. And sure, I could add some soy sauce but it's just not the same.
